Since this is my first quad and I have crashed more than once with my helicopters, I thought the guards for $20. would be cheap insurance. They already saved me once when my Samsung note 4 phone shut down during a flight. The blades would have struck pavement without them. What more do I need to say.

Excellent blade protection for beginners who might get too close to people/obstacles or tip their drone on landing/takeoff. No appreciable effect on speed or flight time. Does crowd top of camera image when flying forward at speed with camera aimed straight ahead.
