These work great but when installed, my Phantom 3 will not fit in my backpack case. I ended up returning them before I even opened them and purchasing some removable ones that are similar. These would be great for someone who has a case big enough to leave them attached or who doesn't mind removing them when they don't need them.

Gives you a sense of comfort when learning how to fly. They have already proven themselves useful. Have no negative effect on the flight of the copter.

Keeps the propellers hitting objects and protect them from breaking

This product saved my Drone a few times in the beginning days of flying. For $20.00 it was well worth the purchase.

The parts fit great without any modifications. Will eventually get quick release guards when a case is purchased.

I understand the purpose of the prop guards but there are a few things I don't like about them. First you can not keep your phantom in the box to transport due to the prop guards being too big. Also if you want to take them off to store it you have to fully remove the screws from the bottom under the motors to get them off so you can store it. I guess you could find and buy a case that would allow you to store the phantom with them on but you will be adding size to what will already be a big case. The biggest thing I don't like is the fact that the guards get into your shots when filming and moving forward they dip down just enough from the forward momentum to creep into the top of the shot. For me that was a deal breaker. Overall I would still recomand them just for their purpose. As long as you don't care about the other things.

I have had 1 drone before and this one is so much better. The ability to maneuver this drone is so much better and the pictures are great.

Does exactly what you want it to. I don't like that you have to use motor screw to attach. If you want to be use carrying case you have to remove 8 screws and invest way more time than you should have to. Also adds a lot of weight. Product is definitely needed if you want to fly indoors.

The guards are easy to install and are very sturdy. Only thing I don't really like is that they suggest using the string to help stabilize the guards. However, it is a little tricky getting the string tight and I don't see how it really helps. I believe the string should be optional.

I bought these when I bought my Phantom 3 as I was not an experienced drone pilot. I eventually crashed and the drone fell a few feet, breaking one of these guards, but saving the prop. It was cold and it was a decent fall so I don't blame it for breaking. Hopefully it took most of the impact and saved the drone (the drone still works).

The props and guards were just what was needed, if I had to do it again I would have skipped the guards as they were not ever needed.

Experienced easy install. No its not a 2 minute job, but not difficult and worth the protection. Did not effect flight

The guards were very easy to add to the drone. On my second flight, the drone was suddenly blown sideways into the trees. Without the guards, I am sure the blades would have been damaged by the branches and the drone might have crashed. Worth the investment.

I don't need the prop guards all the time, and the times when I need them its good to have them. It was nice that Best Buy had them when I wanted to buy a set-thanks. These are of course recommended in closed areas when you might bump a wall or similar surface.

I didn't know my recently bought drone would need these protectors, after buying them one of the guys at the store recommended me to get them and I luckily did. After my second take off I crash my drone with a wall, if they hadn't been on I wouldn't have the drone nowadays. If you have a drone, get them!

Since installing the guards I've had no less than 4 close calls and a hard landing that these likely saved the rotors on. Definitely worth the expense. It's just like insurance. It only works if you have it before an accident. And lets face it, these are about the cheapest thing you can buy for your drone.

Has saved me and my son from destroying the propellers on our phantom, easy to install and well worth the money

The only thing that I was disappointed me was that I paid $699.99 and 2 weeks later they dropped to $499.99.
