I have owned many phantoms over the years from a V.1.1.1 to my phantom 2 and I have to say it is one of the best. I have tried many quads like the Blade and the iris+ but none have the user friendly computer software or the quality smart battery that the phantom 2 has. I am a sport flyer and do not use a camera but if I did I would have this with the zenmuse because it has been out the longest and is very proven, the best thing is that since DJI has released the phantom 3 parts such as the smart battery for the phantom 2 have gotten much cheaper, it used to be to buy a two pack was over $200.00 but now they can be had for around $150.00 for two batteries and the new motors they use are real powerful and do not get as hot as the older motors and the radio has built in rechargeable batteries. I have been in RC for over fifteen years and have not seen a quad as well built as the phantom 2. I would like to have a phantom 3 but $1000.00 is a little more than I have.
