For the most part the drone is a great. Flies smoothly and maneuvers great. I initially was confused as to the cable between the controller and my tablet because they both use a micro usb and those are not easy to find. It doesn't need the cable in order to fly the drone. Still haven't figured out why you would want or need to connect them. That being said the quality of the videos and pictures is excellent. I am very pleased with the overall quality of the drone and the pictures. The only negative at this point is the return home button doesn't seem to work very well. I've tested it out and while i haven't had the issue of the drone just flying away like i've read on a few other reviews, I have not had the drone actually fly back to the takeoff point and land when i've pressed the return home button on the controller. Other than that very pleased with the drone overall. I will mention it is a tough drone as well...have had a couple of minor accidents with it falling and the only thing that has happened is a rotor blade broke.

Love this drone and it is easy to control, given the right amount of time. I do wish it had sensors for close objects but I guess that what the phantom 4 is. As all phantom drones, the down side is short battery life. If you fly in heavy heated areas, like Texas, expect your flight time to be knocked down to about 15 minutes per battery.

The phantom three has a good camera quality good battery life and easy to fly I would recommend this for any beginner photographer

I had the dji Pharom 3 standard but wanted to upgrade but also didn't want to spend a lot more then I already had so I choose this model an I have to say it's awesome plus I put the carbon fiber blades an that made it even better

I was given this one by accident by the employee at Best Buy. I wanted the PRO version but I am very happy with the 4K version. May not have the distance the pro has but I've got mine out 2800 feet. And that's plenty for me! Great product that is a blast and easy to fly.

This Phantom 3 4K is easy to operate and has a very steady camera. BestBuy has the best sale price on it too

Easy to fly. For less than a hundred dollar more than the Phantom 3 standard, you got a 4K and a much better remote control.

This drone is super awesome. Not as easy to fly as it may seem but the 4k quality pics great! Considering the price of this drone. Cant get any better than this drone. Regardless of how better you transfer your pics and videos like the phantom 4. If you want a cheaper drone with a 4k camera. This is it!!!! Gave it a better look too!

I purchased this drone basically going in blind. I'd been to the local hobby store and what they had didn't compare to the price Best Buy offered for 4K video. The drone is very easy to use, especially for a beginner, the app works great. It'S smooth to fly, photo and video capabilities, landing is the best - one button return to home. Go ahead and purchase and extra battery now because you'll soon be back to buy one. The drone runs for 25 minutes on one battery but if you take it up and down a couple times - the 25 minutes goes pretty fast.

With all these other drones coming out this month I had to take the advantage and get this DJI Phantom 3 4k because of the price drop. Now remember that this is the same 4k camera that the Professional has and there is a big price difference. Same camera video production companies are using for some cinematic shots. Biggest differences of the Phantom 3 Pro and Phantom 3 4k is the distance range since P3P is 3.1 miles and P34k is 1200 meters (0.7456 miles) 0.7 miles is more than enough since anyways with the FAA rules right now you have to always see the drone while flying it. Another difference is the P3P has lightbride downlink which is better for transmitting video, control signals and distance, but again you need to be able to see drone while flying and if you need extra boost there are extra boost antennas cheap. Another difference is that the FPV video transmission of the P3P is HD720p and you can record straight to your monitoring device at 720, and the P34k only transmit at 480p, but then again, if I have a 4k camera on board why will I want 720 footage? as long as I am seeing what my composition looks like, that is enough for me. A good difference for this one is that the flight time for this one is 25 minutes and the P3P is 23 minutes which is 2 minutes less,,, not too much difference but 2 minutes can save your drone if you are running out of battery life and can't land because of winds. I am a first time flyer. I had it out on 26 trips before crashing and burning... My advice is to watch the video feed and not the drone. Pros: -Easy to fly -Very exciting -Great video & photos -Sweet flight modes, I really love the Home Lock mode. Cons: -Out of the box and in the air time is over 1 hour, you need to charge the battery and controller, update the firmware, and connect the drone to your device. -I wanted to focus on the drone rather than the video feed. (Grave Outcome) -Replacement parts are not cheap!

I bought this drone because I had done a ton of research on all drones in the DJI product list and it had dropped in price. The camera shoots 4K and the pictures and video it produces are amazing, the feed is only 480 but half the time in the sunlight I can barely see my Ipad screen to make out the difference that maybe a 720 would produce. As far as the max flight distance I dont feel comfortable letting my drone out farther than 250M anyways and thats still enough distance to see everything you want to see before losing it visually. Overall good drone, stable in 10-15mph winds, still learning how to make movies/videos out of the footage but thats my inexperience with editing. Good starter drone, just read up on the best ways to operate as there are a million videos online and choose the best one for you.

great beginner drone. DJI is the leader in drones. easy to use, great stability. I should have bought the higher model, the advance or professional, because now that I have a taste, I want to be able to do more like plan routes, use the follow me feature, or have an increased range that the higher models offer. GO BIG AND BUY THE MORE $$$ model, it is worth it.

This is a great drone, pics taken so far have come out clear and crisp. Stays steady even in higher wind, 4k video looks awesome on our MacBook Pro Retina Display. The only issue is that it chews through batteries at a fairly fast pace. 15-18 mins flight time on a full charge, and extra batteries are $120-150 depending on if you buy generic or DJI brand, plus $50-350 for a carrying case depending on brand. It's an expensive hobby for sure! But it's a fun and responsive toy if you have the money to plunk down.

This drone captures very sharp videos. I use it mainly to produce promotional videos and so far it has exceeded my expectations. It is easy to learn and has multiple modes such as follow me mode for fancier usage. I crashed one into a lake and decided to buy a second one. Definitely worth the money.

This is my first drone ever, its so simple to fly with the DJI app. The only confusing part is calibrating the drone before flight. The picture and video quality are really good. I can wait for drones to have better battery life though because 25 min flight time isn't enough when you are having so much fun.

This Drone is awesome. Is really easy to flight, no experience needed. Very stable and excellent pictures and video in 4k.

I was looking at DJI drones and couldn't decide which of the 4 to get (Standard, Professional, Advanced, 4K). After doing research for a few days, it looked like Best Buy had a great deal on the 4K version. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality of the 4K footage is incredible and the pictures are amazing. The battery life is relatively short at about 22 minutes, but now it just looks like I'll have to get some extra batteries. Highly recommend this model to anyone considering a DJI Drone.

Make sure you have line of sight when using as well as having the most up to date software and calibrate the compass everytime. Other than that this shoots some amazing video and is super easy for me to fly. When first testing it's a good idea to remove the camera. The camera is the most likely thing to break during a crash.
