Replaced a Vision 2 Plus. Substantial upgrade, no issues.

Way easier then the advanced to set up and start flying.

App needs to be better I already had two problems with it the first issue I had everything bright or white came out as black and white stripes and the second time it made my phone freeze and I couldn't land the drone so I held the joystick down so I wouldn't have the drone wonder off if these issues don't happen again I would highly recommend it to a friend

I agree the first review didn't understand what product they were trying to purchase. I had the Phantom standard before I decided to upgrade to the 4K. This is DJI's Best Drone for the money. The controller feels amazing and is exactly the same as the pro controller without the Lightbridge system on the bottom which is why there is no USB port to plug in a phone. The Phantom is remarkably stable indoors and out. My house has a steep incline in the front. The Phantom moves up and down the incline on it's own without me having to change elevation manually. The Vision system works beautifully. Can't say enough about the photo and Video Quality. AAAAAMAZING!!!!

Not very strong construction. Even an adult experienced flyer crashed into the river in just over 1 mo. After purchase. Lots of body cracks and misalignments, plus water damage. Over $300 to repair with no guarantees. Better to just buy a better one next time.

Excellent choice for having an average budget. I know that his release had problems with the calibration of the IMU but after the new firmware released (01.25.16) everything is perfect with an incredible stability, for the price. I hope it can help.

This Helicopter is great and works as advertised. The photo and video are spot on with the professional model. This unit does not have light bridge and the motors are different than the professional version otherwise this is a fine camera ship and will deliver great work. I read the one star review it appears that the reviewer did not know what they were doing.

I started flying with a couple cheap "Toy" drones in order to learn the basics. My recent purchase of the Phantom 3 4K has been an awesome experience! This drone is very stable and easy to control. The 4K video is very sharp and steady. Even though it's easy to fly, I recommend that beginners start with a cheap drone in order to experience the learning pains (crashes, flyoffs) before spending hundreds of dollars.

Very cool device, and great video... However, WiFi signal is weak. In the bahamas, it would cut out (with no other wifi interference). In the suburbs, same thing... Picture cuts out as soon as you start recording... In the city, heavy metropolis, it loses signal extremely quickly, and picks up a mind of its own. Almost crashed landing (slowly) in Hong Kong, as the drone just started going sideways with about 1ft left to land... In hindsight, i would have paid extra for LifeBridge.

Basically, it has a 4K camera on it. Amazing handles, a no brainier to purchase if you are wanting an affordable drone with high quality visual capabilities!

It’s an awesome drone until it doesn’t. Purchased this drone and use it for almost a full year at least once a month. First stated having issues with battery and got a replacement. Later remote stared acting up. And DJI customer service sucks. They wanted me to pay to ship and fix.

Don't expect this to be an inexpensive hobby. The drone is amazing when it works. When it crashes, and it will crash, it is expensive. My first drone, the Phantom 3 Standard had a slightly rough landing and flipped over, sending the camera tumbling off. DJI wasn't going to be able to look at it in time for my Mexico vacation, so I had someone else look at it. It was going to cost more than it was worth to repair. I bought the Phantom 3 4K to take to Mexico. I managed to get 84 minutes of flight time before the drone flew away of its own accord. Just took off into the sunset, never to be seen again. All instructions were followed precisely. Flyaways are very common. Google it. DJI's CEO is on record as saying flyaways are a problem, and yet DJI ALWAYS blames it on pilot error. DJI has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Purchased this phantom 3 4K after looking at many reviews. Phantom definitely lived up to my expectations. Only thing I would advise is to purchase extra batteries they don't last long!

We had originally bought this one. The idea that brought us to this was having a drone and having fun with it. It is definitely something to think about. It is better than the basic and that it can still fly pretty far out & the 4K ability is so nice.
