This is awesome. I was surprised by it durability as compared to other brands.

This is NOT a children's toy. It is also not a toy for anyone irresponsible. There are may legal rules and technical aspects to learn before buying, and even more before flying. I'm not trying to bring anyone down, but disrespecting these rules can ruin it for all of us. It's a LOT of fun, provided that you are 18+ and respect the laws and the rights of those around you. That said, this product feels like it was well worth my money. It has many fail-safes to keep it from crashing and constantly challenges me with all of it's features. Despite having a steep learning curve at the beginning, everything I learn after that feels like a fun education. It flies like a breeze, and takes good pics and video. You also have numerous options of how to take your (respectful) video and pictures, that should make the beginning to mid photographer happy. Although this isn't the top (ready-made) quadcopter, you won't feel like it's 2nd or 3rd best while flying it. It feels solid, and has redundant safety systems to help you out (flying it into a tree is still your fault). It still has new features and support, in the form of firmware, coming out all the time. If you buy this for the right reasons, you should be happy. *Look up the "Academy of Model Aeronautics" website for some commonsense rules, and besides that, stay away from any emergency or police situations, because that's becoming an issue- they need their own eyes in the sky, and having you there can be a danger. -Also, no national parks, at all. Learn the rules, research, then have fun!!!

This is a very great quad!! It is a solid flier, stable, and excellent hardware. Yes, this is very expensive and not a toy quad by any means. Though you have to take into account the hardware...camera, gimbal, app, controller, and most importantly Lightbridge technology. There are horror stories out there about all these quads but many can be avoided. Do your homework folks and know what you are buying. I implore you to read and watch the tutorials DJI has before first takeoff. Could save yourself time and money. Please fly safe and abide by the rules out there. Now Best Buy please do better on your shipping!! Yes arrived as usual in a timely manner....This product was not in a shipping box protected. Arrived on my doorstep in manufacturer box with a shipping label slapped on. Inexcusable Best Buy, inexcusable!! The product looked like it was sitting in the corner of your warehouse for a year unattended. It was dirty, dented, and beat up!! This was the first time I have ever received anything from Best Buy in this manner. This would never be on your shelves, ever!!

Very well made. Crashed twice in one day, into trees while learning controls and its fine. I love flying. Its challenging and easy at the same time. I thought 20 min wouldnt be enough flight time but it is plenty. Im getting prop guards soon becuase while i have successfully flown indoors i dont want to hit anything and damage either. No issues after 8 flights.

I recently purchased DJI's phantom 3 advanced drone and absolutely love the eases of operation. My only complaint was the fact that Best Buy did not carry this item and had to order elsewhere.

Unbelievable stability with the gimbal on the phantom, the video is silky smooth even when windy. I did have a crack develop in the shell witch was repaired under warranty

I was quite hesitant with the hefty $999. price tag, but I now believe it to be a bargain! This thing is amazing. Easy to use fantastic quality. This is not a toy. The technology here is mind blowing. The camera gimbal guarantees great looking smooth images. The pilot app is just as amazing!

It's fun & easy to fly and can go to great heights & distance. We were debating on the 4K model, but am not disappointed, the video quality is impressive.

After owning the Phantom 3 Advanced for about a month now, it's a great big boy toy you have to read and look at reviews to make sure you have the right one for you. I would recommend that you spend the extra money for the one you really want. Once you have the firmware downloaded it's smooth sailing from there, easy to fly and easy to understand you would have a blast flying it stay away from trees and power lines.

Very stable, responsive and easy to fly, couple of time i got issue with drone hover and hard to me to save the drone on that situation. I have no idea also couple of time controller totally disconnected but drone controllable. Couple of time GPS disconnected. i don't know exactly about the issue, i am trying to find or exchange.

I've only had this a few days, but it is just amazing. Had a Syma X5C-1, and X8C, which are fun, but really just trainers for the real deal, which the Phantom 3 Advanced is. The ability to hover, and the image stabilization of the 1080p camera, wow. If you like photography, you'll love the new perspective a quad can give you. Father's Day gift 2016, may never fly my Syma's again!
