I just entered the quadcopter market not too long ago and had performed my research well before deciding upon this unit. I was a bit skeptical about the price, but am so glad I went for it. This quadcopter is beyond no doubt the most fool proof quadcopter around when it comes to flying and recording video. The quality of the flight, the experiences, the distance, etc... all in turn have proven that my money was well spent. I would recommend this to anyone seriously looking to get into the sport or aerial photography/videography.

Very good indeed overall, but you must be prepared to learn the basics and follow procedures, especially on safety. It can travel all directions (any) very quickly indeed and it is relatively easy to lose line of sight to it, so one becomes wholly reliant on the FPV screen, then. Other than not taking it on lightly, it is a sure-fire winner. One needs to take care inside a home as the visibility IRs and downward camera can be confused by types of flooring and changing light, so prop guards are a must and readiness to take control even when just hovering, is a must. This is the only aspect which is slightly disappointing, but not surprising at all.

This is the best drone on the market for the money. The only negative is don't crash it or the camera will break apart. It will cost you about $500.00. I have owned several different drones. Do not waste your time with any other model of DJI unless you go to the expensive ones. Before I bought this, I would buy one for $100-$200. Because you will crash it. Everybody does. Also, I never land mine because it will fall over with the landing gear the way it is and may damage it. I bring it down and grab it with my hand while turning it off at the same time. Remember, if you treat it like a race car, you will crash it and destroy it because it is powerful. Treat it easy and you will have good flights. I know. I have destroyed two. One cheap one and one like this one. Have fun flying and stay away from people and go by the rules or we will have tighter rules placed in us.

The Phantom 3 is very easy to fly. The quadcopter comes ready to fly and you can have it in the air in minutes. Great drone for anyone from beginners to experts.

I was searching for a drone. I was looking a higher price item, but a young worker at best buy told me about this one. This machine fit perfectly for my needs. I wanted to fly my crops during the growing season. The camera is excellent and it's super fast. Very easy to learn and fast setup. Looking forward to fly again. Thanks to the best buy worker for introducing me to this!

Really enjoy flying the Phantom. Easy to maneuver even for a novice flyer. Takes great 4K video. Would recommend the Phantom highly.

The phantom 3 pro is an amazing drone with perfect stabilization for shooting photos or videos. It was a little intimidating in the beginning, but after reviewing the videos and practicing after each one it is fantastic how easy it is to maneuver. There are so many features that can be used and the failsafe mode is a reassuring feature as long as you have a GPS signal.

Join a forum before buying. Read manual before flying. Buy the pro not the advanced. Love this drone. But be careful they are instituting a no fly zone in many areas that were previously open. That is a major issue now among drone pilots. Please read forums before buying. You might not want to buy if this no fly zone gets worse. Other than that I love this drone.

Footage looks amazing, extremely stable craft, sharp and responsive retired my Go Pro Quad although the go pro handled light a little better but if your careful with your shots you can easily achieve perfection and very smooth pans, dolly's, pretty much like having a crane without having a crane. Great Quad!!

Firmware update was the most difficult step. After that everything worked better than expected. Very stable easy to fly. Nice video quality.

This drone is pretty awesome. The only drawback is where the iPad is held, it feels a little unstable. I would give it five stars if it were all in one with the screen and controller. Incredible picture quality and really easy to fly and control

I wanted a drone for a long time and finally got one and I'm so glad I did. After a small learning curve, this drone is very easy to fly and records beautiful video and takes great still shots. Battery lasts about 20 mins and you can buy more, although they are pretty expensive. I only wish I had more time to fly it!

I bought this drone for hobby purposes initially. The drone is very easy to fly and very stable in the wind. DJI produces high quality equipment. The camera takes awesome photos and video up to 4K quality. The flight range is incredible.

This is a huge investment for a lot of people and if you're like I was, wondering if you'd enjoy it just take the plunge. It's so simple to learn how to fly and it's really a lot of fun to cruise around nice scenery getting nice shots you otherwise couldn't. Just be very careful with it, I was flying mine one day and the wind picked up pretty bad so I brought it back to land, and just as it touched the ground a gust came and knocked it over while the props were still spinning. Not only did one of the props get chipped ( not a big deal because replacements are inexpensive) but I think one of my motor shafts is ever so slightly bent. A new motor is really inexpensive as well but unless you're comfortable replacing things like this soldering and taking it apart you'll end up spending a lot of extra money sending it in to get fixed for minor things. Just know what you're getting into when you purchase this. Just because they sell them at Best Buy doesn't mean it's a normal toy, these things are highly sophisticated.
