Wow what a difference between this and the run of the mill drones. This is my third and last drone, it is sturdy and holds up well not at all flimsy. It controls well and the camera clarity is amazing. Love it.

I bought this for myself for Christmas. I cant believe how easy it is to fly it can take off land and come back home all on its own. Also the video and pictures are amazing.

I have had this drone for a month and a half . RTF right out of the box . Good tutorials to learn all you need to know about how to adjust settings and use your new camera drone . Easy to fly , handles great in the wind . I have flown mine in 23 mph . GPS works great it shows you no fly zones like around airports and takes really great pictures . I will probably up grade to an Advanced or a phantom 4 eventually for the extra distance limits . A must for someone looking for a great camera drone .

The self-stabilizing gps in this unit makes it great for beginners. Extremely easy to fly, right out of the box. Just don’t set it to non-gps mode. It gets a little testy in that mode with ANY wind at all.

I am very satisfied with the Phantom 3 standard drone. This was my families first drone and for someone who's never flown one before it was simple to learn and the overal quality of the camera and the drone itself is amazing!

This is a great drone for first time buyers. Easy to setup and fly and the quality of the camera far exceeds expectations

I did my research for my first drone and I felt this would be the best option because of all the built in technology. First flight I flew it kind of far and I lost contact with the drone so I thought it went down who knows where, nope. The gps unit knows where it took off and if there is any issues it flys it self back to the home point. The gps setting for flying will hover in place if you stop using the controls which is nice. If the battery gets low beyond your pre set or you fly too far it will fly it self home before it goes dead so it doesn't just drop out of the sky, I really love the thought that was put in this drone. DJI will be my only drone from this point on.

This drone is very easy to use, 12MB pictures and 720 video along with one touch take off and landing make this drone a FUN and exciting one to use!

Had my boss inquiring in my office about getting it for her fiancee and asked my hubby(former pilot) to recommend one for her to get... And after he saw the reviews and the demo video he made a comment about wanting one and how he loved how he can use his iphone to view the camer footage as it is in the air. He was soo suprised christmas when he opened it and immediately put in on charge to fly it. He then told me that it was one of his best gift he ever got.

So i bought 3 drones, cheap a little more expensive and the final one. wow $599.00 on sale. Well let me tell you the cheaper ones are just that, they have a mind on there own take off and go where you do not want them to. I love this one, I attached a old phone that I have to the controls and it works great, easy to use, landed on the roof to take pics and even when its a little breezy it works good. I would recommend if you want something for work use buy this one, if you want something just to mess around with once in a while buy a cheaper one.

Dji put everything you need on this drone if you want a "toy" with professional features. If you will not use it for work primary, this model is the choice. Very good price for a 2.7K Camera. Only thing you should miss is dedicated buttons of Professional/Advanced versions. If you are looking for a drone for professional use I'd recommend to get Advanced/Professional because of range and add-on features.

This is my first drone. It is easy to fly, takes great pictures and video. I know it is a little pricey, but there is no buyers remorse wishing I had bought a better drone. I love it!

If the chepaer helicopters or quads irritated you then this will calm your nerves. Very easy to fly. Camera is clear and is easy to use. Begginers take heart, its a breeze!!!

For being the "entry level " Phantom, it is amazing ! No words can describe the experience of piloting this Drone. My first DJI product and everything is top self. Easy to fly, rock steady even in moderate wind, fantastic video and photos, and great App. Well polished and put together product. Flawless, have had no issues with anything. If you crash this drone it will be due to pilot (human) error.

Overall I love this drone. Super easy to get started and fun with the kids..just send it up above the trees and let them go nuts. Setup and ready to fly is very easy...takes a little bit to get oriented with the app but no complaints. Good range in my area....perhaps if I bought again I may look at the advanced or pro for a bit more range. Camera is very cool...never gets old

I would consider myself a drone hobbyist as I really don't have a need for a drone but I do find them somewhat fascinating. I started out by purchasing a smaller sized drone (~50.00) to see if I liked flying it and for the most part I did enjoy it, but it left me wanting a bit more in a drone. I did my research and determined that there are essentially 4 different classes of drones out there; Photography, Racing, Beginner and Hobbyist depending on what the purpose of the drone is. For me I went from a Beginner drone to what I would consider a Photography drone. The deltas between the Beginner model and the DJI Phantom 3 Standard (DJI P3S) are mind blowing. The P3S is so simple to fly that my 8 year old Neice was able to fly it with ease. The photo quality is outstanding for my purposes and the steadiness of the shot, supplied by the integrated gimbal, was amazing to view. After flying the drone 3-4 times I have gotten some pretty amazing media that now my friends don't believe that this is footage that I'm actually recording. Overall this was the perfect drone for me....It isn't so expensive that I would cringe if it broke but it has the right features and functions to keep me well entertained for many years to come. If you have experienced Drone flying and got the bug but don't want to spend 1,000.00 plus on a Mavic Pro or Inspire this would be the drone for you.

Someone with no experience can easily fly this UAV. Out of the box, it is set up properly for simple flying and limited range. After a few flghts, simply switch out of beginner mode and begin experimenting with different flight modes. Great video and images are easy to capture. Image and video quality are excellent, but there are better options at higher price points for people who want higher definition and fast frame rates. This is the best choice I found for high quality at a lower price.
