TOTALLY awesome drone that is really easy to fly. Was our first drone ever, so I had no idea what to expect. Setup was slightly tricky the first time, but not overly complicated. Works perfectly with your cell phone for creating awesome video while flying. DEFINITELY recommend!

I don't know how I've survived this long as a photographer without a phantom. This one is great for beginners. The only thing I would change is the camera. I've read that you can upgrade the standard one with an HD. Other than that this thing is one of the best products out.

This takes drone flying to the next level... this is where you start to realize you are holding more than a toy... more than entertainment. It is truly amazing with incredible video and amazing stability and range.

I bought this Dji phantom 3 as a Christmas present for my husband and it has an excellent camera quality it's an excellent choice for beginners. We are very pleased with this drone.

Very east to fly takes great video and stills,awesome

It took me some time to set up and to connect my phone to it. But it's really easy to fly and control even with some winds. The drone itself is really stable, and the camera shoots great pictures and videos.

This product exceeded my expectations! Great drone for anyone, even those with little experience. The controls are very easy to use and very smooth as is the gimbal. I'm very glad I purchased this product. I have had no problems with it and have flown it 8 times.

Product is really easy to operate. I opened the box and was able to start flying immediately after charging up the batteries.Camera is of good quality. Only problem I have was the battery failed after using it for only a few flights, but DJI did replaced it under warranty.

Okay, Okay I bought into the craze and wanted a Drone for Christmas along with 7 million other people. Its fun and I can see why everyone wants one. I live in the country on a lake and the Drone has been a blast to play with. Its well made but battery life is short. I highly suggest another battery to keep the fun going...

This is the 3 rd drone we have purchased by far the best .. Great camera easy to use software

The drone flew great right out of the box, but then I updated the firmware that it said was necessary. Once the update was completed, it took several hours to reconnect the signal from the remote to the drone to allow it to fly again. It persistently refused to reaquire the RC signal. Finally, I was able to fly it and it does great!

Quality product. Kids and I are rough with it and it holds up extremely well. Like the fact it comes with extra parts; easy to use and setup. It's a tad bit overpriced for the functionality though.

I like everything about this aircraft. Easy to fly and has a great camera. However, buyer should be aware that the instructions that come with the drone are horrible. You have to go to the web and decipher what is needed to make this fly. Once you do this it is a joy to fly! My friend purchased one at the same time and had the same frustrations. The manual needs to be re-written and state step by step instructions instead of piece mealing various videos together etc. Overall I am very pleased with my drone and can't wait to fly it again!

First off let me say I am very pleased and satisfied with this purchase.I am a first time flyer and this drone was perfect for me as an amateur to learn how to fly. The website is very helpful with videos to help guide you through the process of getting your drone and you ready for flight. I like this product and one of the reason I bought it is the flight time is higher then most other with about 20-25 min.flight time compared to about 10-11 on others. The pics and video are awesome. Combine that with overhead shot and/or video and you wind up with some amazing shots. Got this as a Christmas present and caught it on sale which made for a more enjoyable purchase (money wise).

This drone has amazing video and pictures. There is a slight learning curve to learning to fly it. I recommend watching YouTube videos on it. If you want. To upload your videos make sure to take it off 2K and put it on 1080p.

I wanted something that would give me good arial video for home & family projects. Flight time per charge is about 20-25 min depending on wind condition as it works to maintain position from satellites. Response and maneuverability has been very good and the video is better than I expected (acceptable & clear for it's price point). Range of flight is to be considered if beyond 500 meters is desired (also depending on terrain) although I don't fly any further than I can see the drone, I can play and record with a better chance of returning home without running out of battery even though it has features to help with that as well..

I would say 3.5/5 stars. This is a great drone! Especially for beginners! However Best Buy does not offer any protection for it like for crashes like with Geek Squad or anything at the moment. BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN THROUGH THE COMPANY!!! Totally worth it, I was one of those people who didn't want to read everything in the box and just fly it and of course I crashed it after a week and broke the gimball and such. I had to pay $294 to get it repaired. If it breaks I will not repair it again. The protection plans are like $100 something for a year and so on. Instantly I could of saved almost $200. I'm waiting to fly it as often as I did until I purchase their protection plan. If ever in need of repairs call them and they will set it up for you and send the info you need to ship it out. Also prepare for some frustration when calling the company due to a language barrier over the phone. All in all, great product and fun for recreational use. Also I would totally recommend getting it registered through the FAA or whatever. It is only $5 and makes you able to "legally" fly the drone. I think you have to renew it every year or 3 years. I'm pretty sure by law you have to register the drone (depending on area perhaps). Which if you get busted flying over your neighborhood or stuff like that, you have to pay hefty fines. I recommend creating a custom controller layout with the app you are required to download in order to fly the drone. The pre set controls are to advanced I think personally. Flight time is dissappointingly short. Only about a half hour on a full charge. You will have to fully charge the battery and controller when you open the box, there is some life in them but not enough.

I started with two small quardcopters and wanted a better one that was moore stable to take photo's. Came to Best Buy to see what I could find and found this at a great price. Took it home and I just had to try it out. It was really to windy but did it anyway. The GPS works great, held in the wind great. Took some video and photos and landed it with no problems. Haven't flown it since cause I haven't got my certificate to fly it yet. I think it is a great product for beginners and experienced, lots of fun and great pics and video. Management helped me choose one and helped with the price. Great place to shop!

Dji works great photos are unreal cant wait to get it up to make lake house and fly it around the lake I have never tried to fly an aircraft before but this drone is simple to fly and the auto home button works great
