This product has improved in just about every way imaginable from bigger, bulkier predecessor, the Ronin-M. A real joy to use.

This gimball has lock mode by pulling a trigger, sport mode for following subjects. Very smooth footage. Feels strong and durable.

Great stabilizer , not too heavy , i plan on getting the ronin m(due to heavier camera) but this works very well with dslr and mirrorless came, would recommend

Wonderfully stable once you figure out how to balance your gear! Everything looks like a nice film.

I love this tool. Out of the box, it was easy to set up and incredibly easy to use. The only complaint I have is that my camera is not compatible with the focus wheel, so I will either need to purchase the focus pulling kit or focus manually until DJI updates its list of compatible cameras to include mine. That said, I can't fault the device or DJI, as I was aware of this when I made the purchase.

Great gimble and able to handle the D850 with Nikkor 14-24mm lens with ease. 4 Stars because of lack of documented training materials. All tutorials are on the DJI app.

This is my absolute favorite purchase of 2018! The Ronin-S has effectively replaced my more expensive, bulkier, and less aesthetic rig, AND it does a better job. The best part is the incredible weight capacity, and the fact I was able to put this together in 10 minutes and shoot straight out of box after watching only one set up video. The only downside which becomes non existent with further product development - is the range of cameras capable of using the focus wheel.

Perfect. I have owned some competitor gimbels in my life and this one is by far the best build and Superior.

perfect on nikon z7, i like it however i wish there was a option to use the focus wheel remotely.

Great product would been better if worked with Sony dji said it would work and some functions do not work with Sony cameras big downfall you are stuck using the IR cable and loose the focus wheel all bad !

This gimbal provides a very smooth motion to the shots. It's a bit heavy but well worth it for a good production.

I bought TWO of these from Best Buy. I will start off by saying that these gimbals are built really well. It feels like a very premium product in your hand. The design is also well thought out. The app was laid out well and easy to understand. Unfortunately that's where the good stuff ends. My first unit hummed loudly when my A7iii was turned on (and ONLY when the camera was on. Very, very odd behavior). It also had an issue where it would not center itself, and it would drift horribly. I returned this unit, and got another one. The second one didn't hum, but it still had the recenter issue and it drifted horribly. DJI employees on the forums say this is "DJI logic" and offer "fixes" that you have to spend 10 minutes on every time you power up the gimbal. The fixes also don't work, and render certain gimbal features useless. I returned the second one and never tried a third one. The gimbal feels awesome, looks great, it's super sturdy - but the functionality was terrible. Horrible QC. I wanted to love this gimbal but 2/2 failures were too much.

It really does help me create the prefect video. I thought it was a little pricey, but it is worth every penny.

It was my first time using a Gimbal and I can not believe how smooth the footage was. Easy to use and setup.

The Ronin S gimbal is amazing and makes my job a lot easier when working.

I wanted the smaller SC model, but unfortunately needed to run larger rigs so the bigger S model had to be the pick. It handles a fairly heavy/large setup with a Canon EOS R, BG-E22 battery grip, RF 28-70 f/2L lens, Rode VMP+, and even still has room to mount the Atomos Ninja V to the side of the unit. Can't ask for much more than that from a handheld, portable, and super stable gimbal.
