Shipping was fast and I received on time. Gimbal does take a little time to balance but once you get it down the set up is a breeze! easy to use! I do get those nice smooth shots. There’s lot of YouTube videos to help you navigate on how to use this. Gimbal to its potential

I am simply amazed on how good this stabilizer is. It holds a very good amount of weight and it is easy to use, and the battery last a really long time. I also love the fact that you can control the stabilizer flawlessly via your cell phone or tablet. The price point is amazing. I do recommend this item.

It’s my first gimbal. The set up was aggravating at first but after a couple youtube tutorials, I nailed balancing the gimbal and from there I was set. Can’t wait to see what I get done with the Ronin SC!

I recently picked up the DJI Ronin-SC 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer, and it's been a total game-changer for my video work. First off, the stabilization is top-notch. I'm getting those smooth, cinematic shots I've always dreamed of, with zero hassle. It's surprisingly lightweight and compact, which is a huge plus for me since I'm often on the move. Setting it up was a breeze, and I love how it pairs seamlessly with my camera. The battery life is impressive too - it lasts through my entire shooting day. And the controls? Super intuitive. I was worried it'd be complicated, but it's actually really user-friendly. For anyone looking to elevate their video quality without breaking the bank or their back, the DJI Ronin-SC is a no-brainer. It's sturdy, reliable, and makes shooting professional-looking footage incredibly easy. Two thumbs up!

This is a bit picky to set up and I would recommend an auxiliary screen to mount to the handle. This is easy to balance and easy to use. Android app is difficult to initially install on my phone but works solidly.

This gimbal would be the best bang for the buck if you are using a mirror less camera with a medium to small lens! I honestly had a lot of fun using this tool for making commercials and videos for events. The simple controls are easy to use, the battery is enough to last me an entire session, the steadiness combined with my cameras optical image stabilization creates smooth footage. My only issue is the cheap styrofoam box it comes with, I know the product is meant to be light to carry around with the rest of the gear. It just worries me how fragile the locks seem.

    Ronin-SC, Excellent Gimbal for MFT

The Ronin-SC is a perfect size and weight match with my Olympus OMD cameras. Shooting 4K video, the combination of an E-M1ii body and the Olympus 12-50mm zoom yields near professional results. This lens is not the sharpest, but in good light it is good enough. The important thing about this zoom lens is that it does not extend or contract. This means that the gimbal's balance remains undisturbed at all focal lengths. Gimbals are tricky to balance -- this one included. You do have two setup aids available via the DJI cell phone app. The two are Balance Test and Auto Tune. Balance Test tells you if you're out of balance and on which axis. Auto Tune calibrates the gimbal with the weight of your camera setup. Both work flawlessly. Once you have your rig balanced, you can preserve balance by removing the camera and locking all three axes. The carrying case allows you to store the gimbal with the axes at the balanced position. This means that you do not have to balance it if you use the same gimbal/camera setup. This is a major timesaver. The only disadvantage to the Ronin-SC / Olympus combination is that there is no interface of gimbal to camera. Panasonic bodies such as the GH5, which are more videocentric, do interface with the Ronin-SC. I tried it with a GH5, but the GH5 doesn't fit my workflow. I would really like to see an Olympus interface. This unit is an order of magnitude better than another unit I own, which is also a small gimbal. At a price of ~$280, it is a real value.

once you learn how to balance the camera, the gimbal takes over and is like magic! i was able to use the a7c with a 28-75 f2.8 (massive) lens on it. total weight was only half of what the final is able to carry, which is 4 pounds. in the case of the a7c, the viewfinder doesn't get in the way of the frame, so it can move freely around. if you're using the other a7's, the top/center mounted viewfinder could get in the way of the frame and limit the motion.

This is a really great price of gear. It will take all of your shots and make them cinematic. You can really up your filmmaking game with this gimbal. It’s got a rechargeable battery that lasts a while and different modes for getting unique takes. Balancing my A6400 was really easy and this is my first time using a gimbal ever! My camera is equipped with the Sigma 16mm f1.4 DC lens and no issues at all.

Love it. Real nice features. Love the motion timelapse. Using the Lumix s5 cam with it. Cool trick put this on a tripod with dolly wheels and can get real smooth shots. Even when dolly hits bumps never shows up on final product.
