Cheap piece of junk

I don't know whether the armband works because I only used it once because it requires the ipod case. The case is less than junk. The shell is too thick to allow you to use a dock, so if you use it you will have to snap and unsnap the case repeatedly. And, the snap locking hinges will break almost immediately.
Here is what happened to me. I bought the case and took it home. I snapped the shell on. 30secs later I dropped it on a carpeted floor and the case flew apart. I snapped it back together. Then went running. Came home. Somehow during the run my shirt scratched the plastic case and created a huge gash? I unsnapped the case to use a dock. I listened to some music. Then I tried to resnap and the hinges broke off.
Suggestion, Incase makes great products. Go buy one of them.

It works great for me, but I'm not using the product for its intended use. I cut the armband off, stuck some velcro on the back and now keep the rubber dock velcroed in my truck. When I go out I simply slide the iPod (while in the protective case) into the dock and can easily see what's playing and/or remove the whole unit in order to change songs and then stick it back on the velcro. There's probably a cheaper product just for this type of use, but I got this at Radio Shack (there isn't a Best Buy very close to my house) and it was the only product available that would serve my needs, even if I had to modify it.
But the other reviewers are right, it's a rather shoddy product as far as cases for active use are concerned.

It would be less aggravating to duct tape your iPod to your arm than to use this product. My iPod (the Nano, which is what this product is designed for) didn't fit in the case. The case just came apart when I tried to insert my Nano (with little force).

Works Great if You Have Nike+

Looking for arm band for the "new" Nano and Nike+ without spending a lot, this is the item. The "new" Nike+ armband is stiff and the actual band can pinch. This Item is very flexible, and adapts great to the sensor plugged into the bottom. Only problem.... the Nike+ sensor is exposed.

I bought this arm band along with the ipod to my wife and she loves it. It is really wonderful and easy to tie in the arms. She uses it every day when she goes to her fitness club.
