Lost classic would have been better served...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....As an inclusion on a full album, however, 'Do Your Thing' is a good jam! Cut for the "Shaft" soundtrack, the piece was heavily edited for inclusion in the film, and, presented for the first time on this EP. Truthfully, the song might have been better served as part of a larger compilation, however, for a 33-minute epic soul-funk-experimental-somewhat-jazz studio session, good for archivists, or those that are curious about obscure music.
