Great dock with extended ports including usb and Ethernet. Very small footprint. Very happy with it

Picked this up during a recent sale and couldn't be more pleased. Like the Surface Pro, the dock is well built and easy to set up. It holds the Surface at a good viewing angle and has plenty of ports. Add a monitor, keyboard, etc., and the Surface becomes a solid desktop machine.

Really nice for business on the go. Easy to navigate and travels more comfortably than a laptop.

This is a good solution for people that normally uses their pc on a desk with external peripherals such as monitors, keyboard and mouse. Its really convenient not to detach and attach this things whenever you need to switch places or take ur machine with you in the dining or living room. Plus it also comes with a charger, and at this price point, its worth it rather than buying another charger

Overall nice looking dock, but cost extra to get the max usage out of it -if you have multiple USB 3.0 devices you need a USB 3.0 hub since it only has one USB 3.0 port which means more $, if you want to extend to a larger monitor you need a adapter more money $$, if you want to extend to a duel monitor you need another adapter and some USB to Monitor set up which means more $$$. I would wait for version 2 or three of this dock if you don't want to spend the extra money $$$$ to get normal docking functions out of it.

This docking station has worked great for me. Saves you from having to plug in monitor, USB keyboard and mouse, and that awkward power connector each time you plug in the surface.

It works like a freaking charm, the best designed dock for any device that I have ever used. I only wish it had Gigabit Eithernet instead of 10/100, as well as HDMI insted of mini display port. No issues thought

The doc was a bit pricey, but worth the extra functionality. I keep a monitor, stereo speakers, extra disk drive and DVD writer plugged in to the doc and still have a USB port to spare. Like having a full-sized workstation with all the bells and whistles, but with the ease of undocking and carrying a tablet around on the go. Haven't found any problems with it so far.

Great alternative to use larger screen with mouse and keyboard when doing larger detailed projects. Have ability to display image on just desktop screen, or both desktop screen & tablet screen. Also extremely helpful to have hardwired network when wi-fi connectivity is temperamental...

This is an essential accessory for the Surface Pro or Surface Pro 2. It turns your tablet into a full laptop with the ports to hook up a keyboard, mouse and more. Ethernet is also a plus for business users that want to hook up to their corporate environment at work. It is simple to dock and is one of the best docking mechanisms I've seen.

I bought a surface with the intent of using it as a desktop replacement. The only inconvenience was plugging/unplugging the power, monitor, and USB hub (for keyboard and mouse) every time I needed to take it with me. This docking station turned that exercise into a trivial effort.

The Surface Pro2 docking station was a perfect graduation gift for my grandson who is going off to college in a few weeks. He needs it for all of his tech equipment but couldn't afford to buy it himself.

I have been waiting for this device for some time. The few times they sold them on the MS sites, they were gone before you could get to the page yourself. I needed it to complete my home network once I decided to go with the Surface Pro. The ethernet connection, multiple USB ports, and USB 3 to boot. With this dock, my Surface runs the entire house now. Worth every penny.

This docking station is great. It has extra USB ports and holds the Surface at a good angle for working. The docking station allows you to add a full size keyboard an a CD disk drive add the Bluetooth mouse and your in business. This is a great addition to your Surface

This is a Great Docking Station. This item charges your device, as well as connected accessories, for flexible use. The 1-click connectivity allows easy attachment. So far I am very happy.

I bought this device because I got tired of having to unplug and plug my monitor, USB keyboard, and power cord every time I took my surface to a meeting. Now all I do is release my Surface and re-dock when I return. Works great!
