Replaced my old desk top. Easy to hook up and use.

I was asked to review this product because the store gave me the wrong docking system because I have a Surface Pro 3. Had to return it to get proper Docking station for Surface Pro 3. I am basing my review not on actual use but based on the fact that it appeared to be the same as the Surface Pro 3 docking station only fitted for smaller machine. Surface Pro 3 docking station is great to work with..

Maybe I should have bought an insurance plan on this. It was perfect in all respects until it suddenly died at 8 months of use.

This is a great addition to the functionality of the Surface Pro in an office setting.

I was pleased with this purchase, it was very simple to set up and easy to use which is really helpful when you are not a teckie.

Works great with the Surface Pro 2 we bought and the xtras we added to it .

Nice way to use as a desktop when travelling on plane

I docked a star because this dock costs $200 and I had to buy another $120 worth of USB accessories to be able to use 3 monitors and get USB 3.0 through multiple ports. But, even with those complaints the dock is great. It doesn't move around on the desk and the slide latch feature works great, plus it's really the only option for a seamless surface pro 2 docking station.

Transitioning from a laptop to the Surface Pro, I knew I couldn't use the small screen of the Surface all the time - the docking station is the answer. You can have any size monitor and a "real" keyboard so it's just like you're using a desktop.

I purchased this for my surfafe pro that I use. My doc is connected in my office to large screen, mouse and keyboard. works perfectly. only problem is that when my surface pro is in the doc surface pro sound and microphone does not work. you have to rely on external speakers and microphone. Also doc does not support feeding 2 screens

A great power tablet for everyday use as well as light usage. I highly recommend it. You can install anything for windows. Make sure you also get the keyboard with battery and you will be set. Ten hours of usage with it.

Bought the SP3 with the expectations of connecting multiple screens. Found out it is ultimately impossible without using the docking station. Great purchase for the money.

I enjoy being able to use the station at home to connect up to a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and Ethernet cable. Easy to use and connect to the surface pro 2. Only down side was the video connect was a display port and not HDMI.

Good addition to my Surface. Should be offered to customer at time of purchase. I went months before I knew it was available.

I am very happy with the purchase, the docking station allows me to use the corporate LAN, external monitor and external disk just by connecting to the docking station.

This is a great idea for the convenience factor. A little pricey, but it does exactly what you would hope it would do.

This is just what I needed for my Surface Pro 2! Now I have the capability to use it for ALL my PC needs! Best Buy had it at an unbeatable price as well.
