Like most of the Doctor Who Christmas specials, this one is a tear-jerker, but also a wonderful story.

Seeing 12 and River together looks and feels right. River is the companion the Doctor needs and hopefully the powers that be realize that during the hiatus until new Doctor Who episodes come out in 2017.

This doctor who story features the first encounter with the 12th doctor and River Song. The dynamic between the two character's is actually really interesting. A really good doctor who adventure.

The 2015 Christmas Special was a great ending to series nine. Loved the return of River Song.

Rivers final journey to the library beautifully told! The chemistry between River and this Doctor is unexpected and surprisingly palpable! This one deserved every one of the tears it conjured!

The Doctor Who Christmas Special 2015 was another joyous event. The special effects, production value, the acting and the script turned this into a fantastic escape.
