David Tennant in his last year as The Doctor. From his encounter with "The Next Doctor" to "I don't want to go" in The End of Time. Bluray quality. With bonus features and commetary. The packaging includes a short story written by David Tennant about an encounter between his present a past self.

The End of (an era in) Time

The last of the David Tennant Doctor Who is presented here in 4 glorious High Definition Blu Ray discs and one upscaled transfer for "The Next Doctor" special. It's a shame that the first special isn't in High Def because I think a giant Cyberman stomping through Victorian London should be seen that way, not to mention said special is probably the second best episode in the set. Alas, two of the four high def transfers are for mediocre and uneven specials, Planet of the Dead and The Waters of Mars. The high def certainly makes them easier to digest but the rather ham fisted Planet of the Dead and the "complete Season's Arc stuck into one episode" Waters of Mars still remain mediocre while looking very, very nice. The End of Time Parts 1 & 2 are beautiful and well told tales of whimsy, excitement, and sad goodbyes. A fitting end to the latest era of Doctor Who.

The last Collection of the David Tennant run as the doctor was the first time the show was presented in HD. This is captured well in this Blu-ray format. Great story, effects and acting. Fun extras.

Loved David Tennant as the Doctor!! this compilation is great since you dont have to buy each episode separate..very convenient and works as a separate season with David's last shows.
