The best episodes are when the Doctor battles the Daleks. The TARDIS lands on a planet and loses power. Soon after the Daleks land and lose power. What is the mystery behind this planet? Pick up a copy and add it to your collection.

Great story with Jon Pertwee as the Doctor which leads into the Tom Baker series. Also has Sarah Jane which made this a very good story. Pick this up to add to your collection. Can't wait for it to come out on blu-ray.

This isn't one of the best Dalek stories there is, but it's a lot of fun. Tom Baker is my favourite Doctor, but Jon Pertwee comes in a close second.

First time Sarah Jane Smith and the Sontarans appear on the show. Nice piece of Whovian history.

This is a great doctor who story but its a shame the BBC was too cheap to redo the dino effects with as much as they want for these DVDs they could have used a little CGI

Ok, lets forget the cheesy dinosaurs. This was decades before Jurrasic Park. There is some sloppy science, but lets forget that too. Here is a story from an era where people feared nerds and the hippie movement was in full swing, so its not about the dinosaurs, its about the dangers of trying to ignore science and putting to much faith in it.

One of the best Jon Pertwee stories mixed with some of the worst special effects ever in a show known for cheap effects. The plot is fun, the story fast-paced and intriguing. But those dinosaurs... Ugh.

The Daleks are back - again

This is probably one of the least interesting Dalek stories, but even so it has some great moments - the Daleks creating new weapons when their usual ray guns don't work; the alien city with its metallic roots.
