Part one of the 11th Doctor has some fun moments and most importantly River Song

One of the better seasons of Doctor Who - and a very good video and audio presentation. Recommended!

Always looking for a good deal on Dr. Who sets and this definitely fits the bill.

Not the greatest of science fictions stories but a lot of fun anyways.

The bluray itself starts out fine and then lags and skips. Tried multiple bluray players with the same result

Matt Smith's entry into the Doctor Who world is probably the best of the series. He maintains the necessary comedy, while removing some of the arrogance that David Tennant had brought in. While some can accuse Matt's portrayal as being too child-like in nature, this isn't the case during season 5, which is why this is one of my favorites.

When I heard that David Tennent was hanging up the trench coat, I was worried about the future of Doctor Who. Well, like a lot of us, we were worried over nothing. Matt Smith has been an excellent Doctor in this Seasons debut as the new Doctor. Stories are awesome. Definitely worth the buy, especially since Best Buy had is on sale for $20.

Doctor Who The Fifth Series is great. The video and audio quality is top-notch, looks amazing. Doctor Who is an excellent BBC show and the acting and cinematography is done very well. I would recommend to any fan of the sci-fi or fantasy genre. Has loads of extra features which is nice and it also comes with 3 graphic artwork pictures.

I was never on the Doctor Who train until season 5. Matt Smith really caught my attention by playing the new Doctor Who. His funny personality and speed talk really captures the Doctor's personality. Love how each episode is embedded with a small hint for the grand finish at the end of the season! Cannot wait for another season to come out! Highly recommend! i would definitely go for a Blue Ray version as the quality is a lot better!

Matt Smith brings a new twist to the role of the doctor. Amy Pond was a great companion along with Rory. The villains Matt had to face were exciting especially the weeping angels.

Great product at a great price at Best Buy. The Blu-ray is amazing clear, the special features are great, and this is one of the series' best seasons, if not the best. Cannot recommend this set enough.

Enjoyed watching this season again. Picked up at a really good price. Wish all seasons were in Blu-ray.

If you like Doctor Who - you'll want Series 5. The vido quality and sound are great. The Extras are good as well.

So glad their brought back DW in 2005. Blu Rays all played without issue. Great addition for any DW fan.

I had been binge watching for 6 weeks and am now up to season 8. This season proved to be the most difficult to watch. Most of the stories were average and the Doctor took quite a bit of time to get used to. I actually enjoyed watching his companion more then him. With that being said, this rough patch did not chase me away from the show. The 3 star rating is because of the rough season, not the actual product. I have no complaints about the Blu-ray.

Matt Smith makes a wonderful new Doctor. His relationship with Amy is also very well developed and the season-long arch is on or New Who's best.

Dr who is simply awesome, highly recommend this show!
