This release delivers in so many ways. Great story, awesome plot twists, cool cameos, etc. Everything that should be in a Doctor Who story is here. Just the right amount of extras on the DVDs.

Day of the doctor is the 50th aneversry special. It brought together all the doctors changing the future and past for Dr. Who. It's a must see if you want to have any idea of what's going on in the next sesone. This one special changes everything.

The 50th anniversary special was such a good episode. I absolutely loved it. It was a nice way to continue the story from the season 7 finale and lead into the 2013 Christmas special.

As a long time fan of Doctor Who I was glad to find this at such a reasonable price! What a great film with top notch actors. Many familiar faces...and a few of the old favorites! Good quality sound and resolution. Highly recommended

The website said it wasn't available, but I called anyhow, and the sales agent was super helpful, finding the last copy in the store. Great quality picture - I highly recommend blu-ray for your favorite films and tv programs.

Did a great job of bring the the 10th and 11th doctors together while also creating a new doctor in such a short window. Also the little easter eggs hidden throughout are cool

As a long time Doctor Who fan, I went to the theatre to watch this for it's limited 3D showing in the US. Just as good as watching it on BBC America. I'm glad Best Buy carried this item for me to own. Excellent price. Allons-y!

In additions to a great story involving 4 doctors, the 3D adds a lot to the story telling. For example, the Time Lord art has a much greater impact when you see it in 3D.

An anniversary special with something for fans of Classic and New Who. As with all multi-doctor stories the plot takes a back seat to the interaction between doctors at times but that's just fine as you won't care.

The 3-D and general video quality are above average. As for the story, it's an excellent outing for the franchise -- hardcore fans will appreciate the team-up of Matt Smith and David Tennant and casual viewers will enjoy the special effects and the gravitas that John Hurt brings to his role as the never-before-seen War Doctor.

This is a great special. Like having both the dvd and blu-ray in1 package. I don't need the 3D blu-ray, but it didn't make packaging anymore cumbersome and it was on sale, so the the price seemed uneffected.

wow. just this was something i looked forward to for months and it surpassed my expectations, be sure to watch the night of the doctor extra before the main feature

This was one of the best Doctor Who movies so far. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I'm not very fond of the eleventh doctor nor am I very fond of this companion. They are just not as enjoyable to watch as previous doctors and companions.

This was an epically awesome 50th anniversary special and very fitting for Doctor Who. It was awesome sauce seeing both Matt Smith and David Tenant together at the Doctor and John Hurt was just as epic.

This 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who was EPIC!! Doctors #10 and #11 join together with the War Doctor to intro and usher in/tease #12!! This is a MUST OWN for any and every Doctor Who fan!!

This is an amazing movie! I seen it in theaters and had to purchase it as soon as it came out on bluray! Wonderful story and loved the acting, anyone who enjoys Doctor Who should enjoy the movie.

The doctor was awesome as usual, but we get to experience two doctors at one time and a third doctor all on the same screen. It's witty, funny, and keeps you entertained by its 'timey-wimeyness'!

If you're a Dr. Who fan this is a must buy. Special effects are so 1950s but that's Dr. Who. Dialogue is cheeky as well as the acting but it is BBC and it's meant for the youth audience.

Great film and very great 3D!!! I was upset that they did not include the bit that showed before the film when it played in theaters unless if it is a hidden easter egg somewhere.
