This set is an extraordinary price for what it offers and it plays excellently clear. VERY good deal for any Whovian who what's the seasons in one complete set. We own the 9, 10, 11 and 12 Doctors complete sets and we purchased two of them through Best Buy. The transaction was easy and this set arrived a full 3 weeks earlier than the date it said it was available. I ordered it knowing it was take time, but the price was fantastic so I bought it. Imagine my surprise when it arrived a week later! Thank you, BB!

I’ll give you that these are DVD, not BluRay so resolution isn’t FULL HD. That being said, the video quality is exceptional and completeness of the collection is beyond my expectations. Not only are ALL the multiple series’ episodes included BUT the it seems ALL the specials are also included, something I did not expect and was overjoyed to find. To any fellow Whovian out there that has missed out on collecting the newer series, I urge you to buy these as you will not find a better value.

There are many fun eras in Doctor Who, but Matt Smith was my Doctor. The one who pulled me into this zany franchise and there's plenty of fun to be had. There's a lot I could say to encourage people to give this era a try, but to be brief I'll just say that if you're looking for a good starting point to get into this franchise while having fun timey-wimey shenanigans, then this may be the DW era for you.

Matt Smith's end-to-end arc is one of my favorite of the new doctors - Eccleston wasn't really around long enough to stamp his personality on the role, and Tennant seems to lose his way about half way through his run, and default to baring his teeth and making ominous comments. Smith brought back some of the fun, but also had a solid take on the sadness of the Doctor Anyway, this was all of his episodes, including the 50th anniversary special in a single package... Tremendous, and well-priced

This collection is a vanilla release, meaning it does not feature any extras. This is also why the cost is so low, making this a great introduction for Doctor Who for new fans, as well as a cost effective way for long time fans to complete their collection.

Great set of the Doctor Who, the Matt Smith Years. Fantastic price also. I'm loving re-watching all of the newer Doctors.

I have been looking of these sets because usually they are extremely expensive but then they came out with these sets. I was able to get the seasons with Matt Smith as The Doctor and i love it!!! I love these sets and can not wait to get more!!

Husband & I LOVE Dr. Who and although Matt Smith is not my favorite Dr. Who, we are very pleased to be able to complete collecting our set of Dr. Who (the revival) discs... Simply LOVE Amy Pond and River Song!!!

Matt Smith is superbly quirky as the Time Lord we love. Taking the reins from Eccleston and Tenent he brings his own mad genius to the role.

The best place to start Doctor Who!! Mr. Matt Smith is amazing!!! He managed encompass several of the past Doctors' best traits and personalities. He is fun, witty, energetic, educated, punny, humorous, childlike.... But still a major force to be reckoned with. He still has his sadness...but he tries to make up for it with cheer...and fun. He has the best looking tardis...the best looking sidekicks (Amy and Claire) and he doesn't have some sort of major mental handicap like the writers gave to Jody. ( She is a great actress and would be perfect for the role of doctor who...but the writing is awful!!! I believe in an attempt to make her less "in your face" they've made her overly submissive. We needed a River Song kinda Dr as our female!!!) Anywho... These are the highlights of the best years. David tennant collection being a very close second...but he started a bit off with lower budget sets and a dark and all powerful kinda vibe.. always threatening. Enjoy!!! You will not be disappointed!!! Unless you are just more attracted to David ;)

I saw some episodes that were good but not great and I wish it was the full complete series seasons not just season 3 to 5 but oh well

I was able to get the Matt's 3 seasons on DVD for a good price. i also bought the next 7 seasons in similar packages.
