Even though I'm giving this game three stars, that doesn't mean it isn't a good game. I simply don't feel that this game does enough as all throughout this is a game about smashing the environment and then smashing some more and more after that. It's not much of a platformer which is why this game greatly pales in comparison to Mario Odyssey. It is one of the most unique titles on Switch 2 in its first year, so I'd still it's worthwhile to own if you have a Switch 2. I imagine in the years to come, there will be a lot of awesome exciting titles that are even better for Switch 2. But for now, I'd say it's a worthwhile purchase.

After playing this for one day, I can tell the Switch 2 should’ve delayed and launched with this game. It’s got a great plot and depth. But I understand Nintendo probably wanted to launch the system with a Mario titled game.

Nintendo games are great, Donkey Kong is a classic and I imagine Bananza will be a great adventure.

OKE!! D.K… DONKEY KONG! What a guy. I love that big hairy boi. Not gonna lie, I got a little bored of the game, but I’m glad DK finally got a new 3D game

It's a blast at first, but it's gimmick of destroying the terrain gets old and repetitive nearing the later half of the game. Leaves little desire to play after completing the game to 100%.

You know what, its okay. Played 20 hrs and unless you’re a die hard Nintendo fan, I didn’t enjoy it.

I’ve been playing Donkey Kong Bananza on the Nintendo Switch 2 and it’s been a really fun experience. The game keeps the classic Donkey Kong style but adds new mechanics and levels that make the adventure feel fresh. The levels are colorful and creative, and the gameplay is fast-paced with plenty of platforming challenges. It’s easy to pick up and play, but there’s still enough challenge to keep things interesting as you progress. Overall, it’s a great game for fans of Donkey Kong or anyone who enjoys platforming games on the Switch 2. Pros: Fun platforming gameplay, colorful levels, great for quick gaming sessions Cons: Some levels can be a bit challenging at times
