Got for a Christmas gift. Great game, the kids love it

This is a great old-school 2D platformer. A worthy follow-up to the Donkey Kong Country series on the Super Nintendo. Some levels are a little needlessly difficult, or rather take numerous attempts to learn all the ups and downs you need to navigate. Still, a solid sidescrolling adventure with a little more grit than Mario.

Excellent game! Brings back to original retro game back to life!

Donkey Country Returns is a fantastic game and worth picking up if you didn’t get the chance to play it before. The levels are great and have lots of fun and unique elements. If you liked the SNES games you’ll love this. It’s very challenging at times, especially on the special temple levels, but it never feels unfair. Even with the HD upgrade though I think $60 is a lot to ask for a game that originally came out on the Wii. Overall though I’m still happy to see the game available on the Switch.

If you love donkey Kong from the Super Nintendo days this is the game for you! Being a fan since I was a kid this was really fun and enjoyed the updated graphics!

Really great game, excellent remaster of the original Wii version. Gameplay is fun but difficult.

I first played this on the Wii, so there were a lot of motion controls involved with it at that time. It was fun to replay it in more of a standard control/controller format, but FYI, this isn’t a brand new entry into the Donkey Kong franchise. If you’re looking for the new game, you’ll have to filter for the Switch 2 games.

Came in perfect condition when delivered. One of the best switch games right now because of the recent updates. A classic!

Avid nintendo gamer. First time ever playing this game. The control for smashing ground/blowing air/rolling forward use the same button but change on whether you pressing forward/ down/ or no direction. So in the middle of a sequence when you have to act quickly those controls get messed up and accidently do an action you didnt intend to do. Id say this game is a bit harder and feustrating than most nintendo games.

We live to play this as a family! Super fun! Highly recommended!

Great to have my son distracted for a little bit while I work it's really fun. I've played it myself and I get distracted sometimes with.

I played this game on the 3DS before I getting this remastered version for the Nintendo Switch. I thought they would used the fur texture from Tropical Freeze.

Nintendo did an superb job bring back an old classic from the Nintendo DS and Gameboy advanced and modernized it to 21 century technology by enhancing the graphics and resolutions, pixels per second, sharpness and very detailed on the fur on Diddy and Donkey Kong and the Animals.

So glad to see this Nintendo Wii classic get a Switch port! As an added bonus this game has a free Nintendo switch 2 resolution and frame rate increase!

GAME IS AMAZING! Unlocked childhood memories for sure!

This game was a very good purchase my family enjoyed taking turns playing it was a nice way for us to all laugh and have fun at home.
