Wonderful movie! 4K version offers a definite upgrade from previous BluRay version I had. Picture and sound really good. The movie is a classic. Acting really good by entire cast. Good direction and story writing. Well worthwhile!

If you own the previous blu ray set by Arrow, then I couldn’t recommend this new release any more. Everything that’s included in this set is well worth the money, as far as I’m concerned. And it goes without saying that the film has never looked better than it does now.

I love this dark, weird, little movie. It is fantastic. Although the theatrical cut of the 4k disc is really messed up. The director's cut is fine, though. This has been well documented, and the replacement discs are coming. Just be aware. Otherwise, awesome set.

Donnie Darko is a great movie! You should definitely get this one. When you order it it comes with fantastic cover art that you have the option of peeling off. I would keep it on if I were you. I enjoyed the theatrical release better than the directors cut just because that's what I started out watching with in the past years. You should get this. You will enjoy it!

Used a sony 4k player and the theatrical cut worked perfectly for me but there is a disk replacement program now. The first time i watched this was on DVD so a 4k upgrade is a huge leap! Arrow did a fantastic job, its dark but thats how its supposed to be.

A cult classic. Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal play brother and sister, so there's that bit of delightful realism to the story in an otherwise otherworldly tale. With a wonderfully dark and horribly sad soundtrack, including a Gary Jules cover of Tears for Fears' "Mad World," Donnie Darko can be a heart-rending story complete with tragedy, humor, science fiction and suspense.

An awesome film finally lands on 4K UHD. The movie and sound are excellent! Supposedly there are some mastering issues on the original cut disc, which is not the fault of Best Buy. Arrow Video is working on a replacement disc. Grab this movie ASAP!

I purchased as a Christmas gift for my Uncle, as this is his favorite film. He was so excited, and loved the additional goodies it came with. Great product!

Donnie Darko is a very interesting flick that takes on the idea of time travel and how mind boggling it is. This flick covers science fiction and romance in a coming of age movie. Donnie Darko is a timeless film that should be considered a classic due to the fact that it is a perfect coming of age film. The low key light of the film adds to the mystery and thrilling part of the film.

Arrow always has the best limited edition releases. From Tremors earlier this year, this release is no exception. Fantastic artwork with a bunch of other collectibles inside. If you have never watched Donnie Darko, this is the set to buy.

Fantastic packaging for a fantastic movie. All of the included extras from this release are top notch. Love the commentary tracks as well as the behind the scenes documentary. 4K transfer looks immaculate as well. Super happy with purchase.

Out of every movie in my collection this has by far the best packaging. Not to mention the restoration of the film it self looks great. Arrow video puts a lot of time in to they’re product and it shows, you won’t be disappointed.

Directors cut is what you need. Definitely gives you all the little details not in the theatrical. This isnt really a "wow" 4k movies but it still looks good too.

Issues with the regular edition if you don’t have the right player. Extended cut plays fine. If your reading reviews you probably already know the movie and just wondering about quality. Pic and sound are amazing but like I said it depends on your player.

Awesome box set from Arrow. The artwork is amazing for this one. The only problem is the theatrical version disc is apparently flawed and suffers from juddering / frame rate issues. Arrow is aware of the issue and will hopefully do a disc replacement program.

This box set is absolutely beautiful! It's the final time you will need to purchase Donnie Darko, at least on blu-ray. The box set is of high quality and not a cheaply put together set that is often the case. A few new features on here, but not many. You are mostly paying for the fancy new design and new transfer.

Arrow Video has outdone themselves again with another essential release. The film has never looked better, and the packaging presentation is phenomenal. This is the definitive release of Donnie Darko, highly recommend!

This is hands-down one of THE best home video releases for a movie, especially for one as good as "Donnie Darko." You have the DVD, the Blu-Ray, AND a digital copy included -- not to mention the phenomenal director's cut of the movie and a ton of bonus features -- to make the viewing experience complete. A must-buy for fans of this movie!

This movie is fantastic, but not for everyone. If you love Donnie Darko, and quality matters to you, then this Blu set is great. From the remastered Theatrical and Director's Cut to the superb packaging by Arrow Video, this one is perfect.

It’s Donnie Darko. Doesn’t really need an explanation. But the Arrow video release of it is pretty nice. I love their design layout and the transfer quality is pretty nice.
