Once in a while there is a small film that makes a big impact. I think in 2016, this movie was DON"T BREATHE. A story where 3 friends try to rob a blind man who lives in a secluded area and believed to have a lot of money. Right when it sounds like an easy task for the crooks, things go horribly wrong. Definitely a must watch because of the roller coaster effect that you feel as you watch it.

A decent thriller with some twists and turns. You really are guessing all the way through, who is going to survive to the end. Bonus features include: audio commentary, deleted scenes, making of, meet the cast, creating the house, man in the dark, sounds of horror.

What I like about DON'T BREATHE is the way it twists the horror (or thriller in this case) conventions. Some kids try to rob a blind man's house and he's not as helpless as he seems. A/V quality is excellent and the extras are fine (would have been awesome to have more about the filming of the "dark" scenes). It's not a slasher/gore movie but a great armrest gripping thriller with a surprising ending.

Probably one of the better horror film to breakout in 2016, from the director of the Evil Dead remake... But this movie is very intense & the twist may have you feeling uneasy. The Audio Commentary is very informative, though a the relatively short featurettes & deleted scenes round out the extra features. Check out blu-ray .com for more AV insight.

Received an empty case rather than a movie inside. First time ever in collecting has that happened. Very good movie, some trace elements of Evil Dead inspiration at times. Worth a watch. Do make sure your movie is inside the case though…

I saw other reviews before buying and I had high hopes that this movie was going to be worth the watch and I was not disappointed. Definitely one of the best thrillers I've watched in quite some time. Beats these cheesy and pathetically made horror films of late. Plus I got a promotional $5 gift card when I purchased so it was an all around great buy.

Geez I saw this movie and was doing exactly that .. holding my breathe.. nearly passed out from trying to keep quiet and silent to avoid been caught like the kids in this movie lol. Great movie .. had my family and I jumping up out of our seats from fright . Recommend for a dark night home alone or just at night with great surround sound blasting

I had no interest in this movie until I saw a clip of it online. I'm glad I did. This movie is more thriller than horror. It's intense and has many turns throughout. All characters are different shades of grey and therefore both appealing and appalling at same time. You do come out rooting for the girl in the end though you don't know which side is going to win.

This horror film really surprised me. Not only did it provide unsettling circumstances, but it presented thought-provoking ideas. The twists and turns it took also did not feel too overly forced in my opinion. I suggest watching "Don't Breathe" with a group of friends for mutual support. Enjoy, and don't forget to scream!!!

If you are looking for a thriller to watch at midnight, this is it! Especially if you have a surround sound (not a sound bar). The sound engineer did a great job to make you feel that you actually in the house with them. With each creeky foot step will make you wonder if someone is walking behind you in your own house.

While the movie reads like a horror movie, it doesn’t follow tradition in that there are no external forces at work. Violence is certainly present but that isn’t the point of the film. Suspense and terror are. And it all works perfectly. This is a nerve-wracking trip that just keeps on scaring the heck out of you. Highly recommended.

I saw this in theaters, and I couldn't wait for it to be released on Blu-ray! It was just as good the second time as it was the first. Behind-the-scenes featurettes are some of my favorite things, but the ones included on this disc left a little to be desired. Sure, it's better than nothing, but I would have loved to have seen a lot more extras.

I wanted to try and rent this from redbox, however, it was consistently rented and not available. I got this for my wife who loves horror movies, I know she's a catch! Anyways, it was a good movie that was very scary at times. I do not know how many times we may actually watch it, but its nice to know we can when we want to.

If you are looking for a great suspense thriller, look no further! Don't Breathe is an incredibly well-written and well-paced film that takes the home invader brand of horror and flips it on its head. The leads all do a fantastic job and the tension is held throughout the entire film. Fantastic movie. Highly recommended.

This is a fairly decent modern horror flick. Although it is rated as “The best American horror film in 20 years,” I wouldn’t bill it quite that far with my raves. It is, cinematically, very well framed and shot. Fast paced. Modern creepy - which is hard to pull off - this is set in a Detroit slum, ala the late 2010’s housing slump. The tension is constant and good. For fans of the tragic hero concept, you may find the antagonist bordering on anti-hero (up to a very definitive point, in this film), but it follows through with some gnarly twists that will not leave you disappointed. By the end, you almost can’t help but feel slightly exhausted. It probably should have ended about 10 minutes before the cinematic end, but It’s worth a watch. A decent primer for film students on suspense and good tension montage. Get it for a few decent jumps and starts. This is a strong nod to the days of Last House on the Left and the reality horror genre.

Saw this movie in the theater. It was a great film filled with a lot of shocks. Warning: there is one scene where a man's baby maker fluid is shown being gathered from a container. So you might want to keep kids away from this! Do you only thing that is disappointing is that there were no special features! But the film itself is great!

"Don't Breathe" is a wonderfully scary horror movie that could mirror a real-life home invasion gone awry. The plot has several twists and turns for a movie that lasts only 88 minutes. A great addition to any horror movie collection!

All of the employees I dealt with were a pleasure to surprise. In this day and age it was refreshing to deal with employees that were more than willing to do what ever it took to make sure I purchased the right equipment and not a lot of pressure to purchase stuff I did not need! The color palette is a little bleak but to be expected for a genre movie like this. The twists in this thriller effectively made me uncomfortable at times. Taking one star off for a final few minutes that bordered on eye-rolling-ly sappy, but the ride getting to that point was extremely effective.

Very pleased that this movie really kept my attention, I was actually on the edge of my seat a few times. Went on sale the week after I bought it, Kel at my BB happily refunded me the $7 difference. Thanks again, Kel. I won't reveal any spoilers, but it is a really good movie for a dark, quiet night at home.
