This is a great DVD set of 6 movies that showcase Doris Day’s diversity in roles she played in the 50’s & 60’s. You can enjoy 3 comedies with Day & her leading man for all 3, Rick Hudson & 1 comedy with James Garner as her leading man. All the comedies are fun with Day showing her comedic abilities as she is well known for & her leading men are perfect matches to make these four comedies family worthy & a delight to watch. The other two movies show Day’s versitality in the types of roles she could play. She shows her great ability to turn from comedy to drama & suspense in “The Man Who Knew Too Much” & “Midnight Lace”. In “Man”, Day is paired with Jimmy Stewart in a Hitchcock movie which delivers the suspense you would expect from Hitchcock. The London & Morocco locations & cinematography are outstanding, as well as Day singing “Que Sera Sera”, which went on to be a major hit & Day’s theme song. “Midnight Lace” is also a great mystery thriller that will keep you on your toes. Day is outstanding in this role & was nominated for a golden globe for her performance in this movie that has a Hitchcock tone to it which makes it even more interesting to watch. You won’t be disappointed in any of these movies.

My Mom loves Doris’s Day! My Father and I gave this to her as a birthday gift along with a few other Doris Day movies that she enjoys. Mom was very happy about the gift!

Doris Day and Rock Hudson are fantastic together. Both are great actors and compliment each other. The other movies are also good but I am partial to these two comedies.

This was a gift for someone who loves Doris Day movies. She loved the gift and was surprised how many great films were included in this set.

I really like some of the older movies and the best and sometimes only place I can find them is Best Buys.
