Everything About Double Indemnity is Superlative!!

By far, this is Billy Wilder's screenplay and directing masterpiece, although his string of movies is unrivaled. Add Barbara Stanwyck's greatest role, and Fred MacMurray's breakthrough dramatic performance and another awesome screen portrayal by Edward G. Robinson, and one has a film noir classic that will stand the test of time forever.

This has everything you need for a fantastic suspense story. Great acting, great script, great directing, the mandatory femme fatale, and presented in glorious black and white.
