The movie is great it still makes sense even if you did not see the TV series. However Best Buy should have made enough of the limited edition one.

I wanted a Downton Abby DVD for a Christmas present for a friend. I found the DVD and purchased it and was out of the store in less than 15 minutes.

We loved the series on TV and had to have the movie. Enjoyed it but was kind of let down by it. Tied everything up in a nice bow though.

If you liked the series you will love this movie. All the same cast but a little updated as it takes place in the 1920's. Costumes were wonderful.
