Because of the overall high quality of the TV series, this is more of the same for fans of the show. For anyone else, they might be wondering what the fuss is all about. Limited edition package offers a few extra goodies.

If you loved the series, this is a must see for sure! They did a wonderful job with the storyline, and as always the cast was superb! It’s one I’ll definitely watch over and over… And I hope they make another!

I highly enjoyed the original TV series so it was nice to have a followup movie to continue the exploits of the inhabitants of Downton Abbey. Fortunately they are already working on a sequel to this movie!

Absolutely excellent! Love, love, love Downton Abbey: The Motion Picture. So much happens in the movie and all I can say.....bring back the series. Fantastic movie where you want more Downton Abbey.

It definitely helps to have seen the TV series so that you know the characters and their background stories. That being said this movie ties up some loose ends and adds other things that leave it open for either another movie or a BBC season for the continuing saga. Unfortunately there was too much time devoted to Thomas Barrow's gay lifestyle - and hardly anything with Mr Bates or Henry Talbot.

Received in time for Christmas. did receive an email saying product was delayed, then another the next day, saying item had shipped. Safely arrived, no damage, and in time for Christmas.

This series is Awesome!! So happy they did this additional Movie to add to my collection! If you watched the series, I highly recommend. Best Buy has the best price on it as well.

It's so nice to have the digital copy also. Great movie, feel good movie. Nice to see the characters again. Looking forward to the next one. Makes a great Christmas present.

Gift for my wife. She is a huge Downton Abbey fan. She was very pleased with the film, characters, pageantry and more. She did not want it to end. She rated it Excellent.

For Downton devotees, "Downton Abbey, The Motion Picture" is like old home week in that grand old home because it's essentially like watching the next logical installment from the TV series albeit with an extended runtime. Virtually all the characters are back. The sets, silver services, crystal, jewelry, fashions, are more evident and resplendent, and locations are more grand and sumptuous. The drama ranges from not terribly surprising to a bit maudlin and patriotic (perhaps a poke at today's rabidly woke Britons no longer awed or impressed by the monarchy, the peerage and who may wish to expunge this age of elegance and manners from British history with as much zeal as some professors are now doing with Shakespeare in the academy). One thing to note is that many of the interior scenes - particularly in the Downton drawing room - are shot more dimly than the series which is perhaps more realistic but tends to diminish the detail that can be seen on the walls and the decor. If you've been a long time Downton fan, this is a must-have for your collection. And the second Downton motion picture is apparently in production - presumably without Baby Yodas or zombies or superheroes in latex looking for colored stones.

Pro: The screen is excellent, games run lag-free, and the triple-camera system is versatile and effective. Cost: design for the triple-camera look bad.

I love extras when buying Dvds/blurays and this one is just perfect not only is the movie great but so is the packiging!!! Would definelty recommend!

Great movie here. You don’t need to have watched the series to enjoy this movie. However this will probably draw you into the series. Enjoy watching

Stayed true to its characters. My wife and I watched the entire series together. This movie was a nice addition. Maybe one more Downton Abby movie?

Loved this movie so much! For you to understand most of the humor and characters I would recommend having seen the show before watching the movie.

I watched all of the seasons, so why wouldn't I watch this? The beginning recap was kind of pointless for those who have seen that series.

I bought this for mother-in-law for Christmas and the movie looks beautiful on a 4K TV! I highly recommend for any fans of the show.
