Finally, I have completed the set! So happy I could find this at Best Buy! They definitely are the best!

The only disappointment I have with the entire Downton Abbey series is that the retail disks (DVD & Blue Ray purchased from stores or web sites) omitted the deleted scenes. That is where I purchased all of my disks. PBS showed both, episodes that were the retail version & the full length version, on TV. Getting 5 or 10 seconds here & there made some scenes flow together more smoothly & made more sense. I don't know if the disks ordered from the PBS network on TV are the full versions or not. Some day I'll meet someone who ordered the disks from the TV & I'll find out. Otherwise, I still thoroughly enjoyed the series.

This is the sixth and final release in a an OUTSTANDING series that I highly recommend. It is a rich and entertaining series set in the era between 1912 and 1925, a time of major change in peoples daily lives that saw the onset of cars, electricity, the phone and various social changes. There are numerous interesting characters written into the story, each with there own background story that interact in VERY entertaining, & at times, humorous ways. This is one series I wish was continuing, but I respect the powers that be for cutting it off when it was on top.

I love Downton Abbey and jumped to the opportunity to buy the entire last season before it finished here in the US. It was so hard to not tell my friends how it ended when they were watching it every Sunday until March when the very last episode aired in the states. I would definitely recommend some to watch the show because it gives you an insight of just how wonderful the Crowley family is as a whole and how much they appreciate those who work for them but also the love they ha e for everyone in their life.

This is a great final season to the series. I didn't watch it on PBS each year and then bought the Blu-ray so we can enjoy it while waiting for the next year to arrive. Sadly, there won't be a next year for the series but we'll be watching the series over and over again. I've been a fan of Julian Fellowes since watching him on "Monarch of the Glen". While I really enjoyed him as an actor, now that he has moved behind the camera, he shines even more. Please bring us more quality television!

Downton Abbey was one of those shows that were either going to be a hit or miss. Well it was a hit and some of us are grateful for it. It is one of the better that PBS has put out. Set in 1925, season 6 ties up loose ends for the Crawley Family and it doesn't disappoint. Cant really share to much, but I will say this season took some chances and they were dead on. Since there will be no season 7 have to find a new period piece to watch.

Ok, I was writing Best Buy reviews, and my wife told me I could not say bad things about this show. So, it's and adequate work, worthy of watching. Ok, so I haven't watched it. Well, I saw a few parts of various episodes while walking through the living room, and it wasn't horrible. She loves it, and binge watched the whole series. I respect her and her opinion, so that means the show must be good.

My husband & I really enjoy watching Downton Abbey. The costumes are fabulous, the sets ( a real caste, town & countryside ) exquisite, filming is beautiful, and the characters are very real-like, fabulously interesting and deep, not perfect people, but like real people. They are like members of our family that we are losing, as this is the final season. Extremely enjoyable viewing.

Most anticipated series finale for a dedicated Downton Abbey Fan! I enjoyed EVERY show and actually watched the whole season in one day! It was a great way to end the series, I wasn't disappointed. It was how it should have ended without lots of tragedy and tears. EXCELLENT SERIES! Highly recommend for anyone contemplating beginning this series!

It's the last season of Downton, one of Britains best dramas ever. A must own for fans of this wonderful emotionally wrye and comedicly dry program with an amazing ensemble of Britain's top acting talent. I patiently await the future spin off that takes place a number of years after, in another trying period in British history.

the story of this English family goes on . New problems , old problems new and old cast members , but the script and the story line hold your attention . The actors are top notch .as well as the casting and directing . This series is so easy to get hooked on even if you are not into period dramas. highly entertaining .

Having enjoyed Downton Abbey ever since it began, I was eagerly awaiting the final chapters; there were so many loose ends to tie up... one night for fun I made a long list of questions concerning how various plot twists would wind up. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not all of them were dealt with as predictably as I thought they might be, and there were some genuine surprises. But I did feel that too much new material was thrown in too quickly with very little chance to develop anything, and so some of the endings could be seen a mile away. In general I think this was the weakest season, so I'm very glad the series is now over, before things really went downhill.

The last season of Downton Abbey on Blu-ray Disc is excellent. The only disappointment is this is the end of the series I have loved since day one (no star reduction since Best Buy isn't at fault for this). This disc is a must have for any Downton Abbey fan who wants to complete their collection.

Continues in the spirit of the previous 5 seasons, giving you a glimpse into life the way it was then. Great story line and the actors are excellent. Only wish it didn't end. Has been my wife's birthday present for the last 6 years. Story and actors are good enough to watch several times.

I own all 6 seasons and my whole family love this PBS series; from the 70 + year old raised on a Montana wheat farm, to the college football tight end and the 9 year old Granddaughter; just to name a few. They all get a kick out of Violet!! We're hoping there will be spin-offs.

Season 6 was a wonderful ending to a great series. Most of the characters had their storylines wrapped up nicely, but the writers left things open for a rumored movie. Fingers crossed that happens. I took a star off because the audio on this Blu-ray release is only 2.0 stereo (Really? It's 2016); and there's no way to find a particular episode unless you pop each disc in the player. There should be a printed episode guide included with the set, or at the very least the episode numbers should be printed on each disc so you don't have to play it to see what's on it.

Season six brings a great deal of change with Marriages and new careers for the staff and family at Downton Abbey. Packed full of drama and relationships between racing drivers, teachers, secret writers and the staff of all the Crawley family. I will watch this again.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter for it is her favorite series! This was my first year that I did Christmas shopping via internet. I was nervous but it was delivered on time. Looking forward to a mother daughter binge watching our series!

After my wife missed a few episodes of this year's season, I bought this so that she could binge watch and catch up before her friends told her what happened. My wife is happy that she was able to view the episodes before being exposed to spoilers.

This is a wonderful show about rich people! The set is lavishly decorated with gorgeous period accurate furniture and accurately portrayed clothing. I love English garden scenes and how the servants are always fighting with each other.
