I purchased Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat [WS] [DVD] [2003] edition, live action film, for my kids actually, as a gift; due to the fact that they love these Dr. Seuss movies alot, every single one of them. After watching the movie, I'd actually have to say; it was quite hilarious; & it isnt just one of those movies I'd really like to hide from my kids forever, due to it being extremely obnoxious, but id actually watch it again.

This is bright and colorful but there are a few parts that are not appropriate for children.

I purchased this while browsing the videos. My granddaughter just turned two and I didn't know if she would be old enough for this but she loved it. I watched her for a week and it was a real hit. After a couple ef viewings she was lecturing the cat on how he should behave. We may have spent too much time on it but she sat on my lap and giggled and that is what Grandmas are for. Right?

Yes this movie was made for children and young teens but is a great family movie that my kids enjoy watching over and over again. There is adult humor in here as well but it is not said right out to make parents question if kids should be watching this.

I LOVE MIKE MYERS!! He's so hilarious..anyway, my sibling loved this movie when they were little an every time it would come one tv we'd always record it for them, so i figured why not buy it on dvd?! an so thats why i got it, also for my neices! GREAT MOVIE!!

Cat in the Hat has always been one of my favorite books but then they made it in to a movie. Mike Meyers did a great job. The movie all around was funny and well made. Our kids love this movie.

I grew up on Dr. Seuss, and just had to have this one for my collection. The fact that Mike Myers is in it gives it additional flair. I prefer the animated movies, but this one does not disappoint.

Lots of innuendo and a hammy performance by Mike Myers yet I still laughed and I know a lot of parents were upset with the jokes, so be warned. It's very naughty.

I really like the message and also the movie is well done, it is entertaining, funny with good visual effects. I will recommended for some one that has kids or likes kids movies.

The picture looks good. Some things are thrown in for adults. A classic kids movie becomes a classic family movie.

This is a great movie for all ages! Best buy makes it so easy to afford great movies like this one.
