This is beautifully shot, and I love Jonathan Rhys Meyers...but I just can't get into it. As a fan of Dracula and JRM, this seemed like a perfect fit for me...but watching it, it comes off as more of a creepy soap opera. The production is top notch and the blu-ray is good quality, I just expected a little more from it. If you are a fan, by all means, get it.

I ADORED this show when it first aired, and am BEYOND psyched it's finally available to own. This show is first and foremost, great, campy fun. If you're looking for a serious treatise on Dracula, look elsewhere. If you're looking for some awesome Jonathan Rhys-Myers moments with bonus corsets, camp and girl love, this is the show for you.

I wish they didn't cancel this show after 1 season. It was a really great show and another season would have shown that. The plot and characters were very well written. The scenes were time period correct and imaginative. However, this was not a show for prime time TV; it was more suited to a premium channel like HBO or Showtime.

Not saying this is a masterpiece of Television brilliance, but it was an interesting alternate take on the Dracula mythos. Too bad it got cancelled. Perhaps if it had been allowed to continue what flaws it did have may have been worked out...or maybe it would have gotten worse. LOL I guess we'll never know.

I was really enjoying this new take on Dracula with Rhys Meyers then it was cancelled. sort of left everyone hanging at end. last series installment didn't really tie much up. I enjoyed the vampire kids but was routing for guy who loast girlfriend to Dracula lol

This is a different take on the Dracula story that is fun & fast-moving. I'm in the middle of watching season 1, not sure if there is a season 2 being done, & I can't wait to find out what happens. Fun if you are a Dracula fan.

Brilliant acting, wonderful set designs, and excellent cast make this a must buy. This version of Dracula is amazing, mixing steam punk technology with ro.ance and horror. Wished this had been renewed. Must buy!!!

if you want drama, romance, blood, fantasy this is the one to get. i wached the whole season in one day. Jonathan is sexy, evil and vulnerable all at the same time. Amazingly done. It is a must see if you are a fan.

The DRACULA TV series was excellent and should have been renewed by NBC. The acting is terrific, the action and gore gripping, and it is highly entertaining. The digital quality is excellent as well.

A fantastic and entertaining series. Dracula for the new millenium. A past meets present epic. I love it! (too bad it ran just one season). Excellent blu-ray added to my collection.

An interesting and inspiring rendition of a story that had been done over and over. I was sad to reach the last episode just to find it had been canceled. I was left wanting more. A genius story.

This was a really interesting version of Dracula, and I would have liked to have seen more. My only complaint is that it is only 10 episodes, but definitely worth watching!

It's a great tv show. It's a different spin on Dracula and I really like that. It can be a little slow moving in a few episodes but it does pick back up. I hope there's a season 2!

Most Dracula movies and shows focus on the killing. This series actually showed the story and a different side of Dracula. He actually was a contributing member to society.

Wish they had not cancelled this series, had great characters and a good storyline. Maybe they will resume it on another network, may be hard now as time goes on.

I recieved this for my birthday and it was fun to revisit the spin on the classic vampire tale...just too bad the series won't continue?!

This was a great show. Wish it wasn't cancelled. However, at least they released Season 1. Great discs. They work without problem, great quality.

This series has an interesting take on the classic story of Dracula. Definitely a little racy and bloody, but that's to be expected. Good show.

A great TV show. Love the writing, action and victorian setting of the show. It's too bad this show got cancelled and had great promise.

I love Jonathon Rhys Meyers. He is so sexy and him as a Vampire is the icing on the cake. Sad that it was only one season.
