Highly underrated movie, deserves a sequel but unfortunately it will always be measured against Bramstoker’s Dracula movie. Great fun horror movie.

This been one of the few attempts at trying to reboot the Universal Monsters and got axed after this one film cause this was a fun take on Dracula.

It’s a weird as heck flick. Kind of just below “that’s too much”. But if you like retellings then it’s definitely something curious

Way better than I expected. Caught it on sale for $8.99 so I was willing to take the loss. Now I’m waiting on the next one

This movie is great an original take on Dracula or rather more in depth explanation any way and Charles Dance is amazing.

This was a great combination of stories into a nice summary. Concepts from Bram Stroker's Dracula and other stories to make something new.

Some people didn't like this movie. What do you expect? Not bad story for the origin of Dracula. I enjoyed it.

Pleasantly surprised at this version of Dracula It’s a darker version than expected with great thrilling scenes

When i first saw it I was hooked. Im a big vampire fan. I was ify at first but for 4.99 I took a chance. Im glad I did.

This was a great vampire movie , with lots of action , nice graphics , I would definitely recommend this movie to any one .

I have seen other types of dracula movies but this movie is right around the ball park of the other movies.

I am a huge fan of Luke Evans and his portrayal of Vlad Tepes and his transformation into Dracula is a wonderful one. Not just because he is able to capture the ferocity and might of Dracula's legend, but also because he is able to show the audience that Vlad Tepes and Dracula have more than one dimension. Dominic Cooper was also fantastic in this movie, it would have been nice to see more of him as he was the primary nemesis, but the film does justice to the Dracula legend. It is not overbearing in gore, but creative with displaying the destructive and protective force that Vlad Tepes is thought to have been, while also standing up to the legend of Dracula, in a manner that is not too Hollywood. This story, while told many many times, in this case, was offered up in a different light, giving the viewer a chance to take in the characters in a manner which has not yet been seen in cinematic tradition of the retelling of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Additionally. the filmmakers do well to create a final scene that would allow them to return and pick up for a sequel that would not seem too forced. All in all, great film, wonderful performances, the graphic affects were great, especially with the bats and the way Evans' eyes shone red. I would definitely recommend this be seen by any Luke Evan's fan, appreciators of the Dracula story, and for general entertainment as it would also be a good film to pop in and watch with friends and/or family on a Friday or Saturday night.

Watch this movie before seeing Bram Stoker's Dracula to make more sense of why Vlad became a Vampire to save his people and land.

This movie did not get the best reviews but I thought it was incredibly entertaining and a great Dracula movie.

My family enjoy this movie together, my son and my daughter love it... the movie is cheap when it on sales..

This is an awesome movie I like the back story and the setting of the movie. The price was great and worth buying.

Went into the movie not expecting much, came away pleasantly surprised!! Great price also!
