DLC is such a mixed bag. Sure it's great games get expanded upon, but at the same time, it'd be nice to see them put more time into the game by itself rather than having to pay for extra content.
But on the other hand, seeing companies work hard on games passed their initial release is great, and having 8 additional characters to choose from is amazing. Some felt a little obvious or lack-luster in thought such as Bardock, Broly, Base Goku, and Base Vegeta. However they all play very unique, despite 3 of the 4 (Bardock's likeness of Goku included) already having at least 2 other forms included in the roster.
The other 4, Zamasu (Fused), Vegito (SSGSS), Cooler, and Android 17 (in his Dragon Ball Super outfit), are all unique additions.
Overall, every character is well worth it!
