This new series of Dragon Ball is a slow burn and build. Things really pick up in this set once Future Trunks & Goku Black are introduced later on Disc 1 of 2. I would recommend this series to any DB fan. The animation looks beautiful of these blu ray disc. Though in my humbles option the art style is nowhere on par with DBZ. If I had to nip pick it would be 2 things. None of these sets include a digital copy and the amount of episodes could be more. But after all these years I’m used to Funimation milking us fans for every dime. I personally prefer to physically own the series and avoided the Cartoon Network airings as hard as it was to do.

I still find it kind of odd that the disk set starts with the last episode of the previous saga... But what do I know? Otherwise, a decent season set.

I've watched the whole series, and I can tell if you havent seen this you should. I will buy this not just because I am a massive Dragon Ball fan and a completionist but simply because the whole Goku Black storyline is fantastic. I have seen it all in its original Japanese glory and now I am rewatching it with in the funimation dub that we all know and love. Buy it guys it just keeps on getting better and better after this.

Whoo Hoo! No more waiting. I can't wait to watch it. If you are a DB fan, this series is a must-have. I love how the Super series has great humor, great action (of course!), wonderful new characters, and we see a lot more interaction between the old characters. Goku as a vegetable farmer, Vegeta on vacation, Krillan as a cop, and who doesn't love Whis and Beerus?
