More fun than I even expected.

Dragonball Xenoverse 2 was a game I had moderate expectations for. I loved the animated series, and was a bit skeptical about it. It blew me away, however, and I'm happy to say I could recommend this to fans of the series, and people willing to try a new twist on fighting games.

    A great DBZ arena fighter

I love DBZ and have played a majority of the games growing up. Xenoverse 2 is an excellent arena fighter, adding numerous iconic characters from the DBZ IP that series fans will love to play as. With the DLC, the roster is huge and has loads of gameplay in the form of quests and uniqe online missions. However, if you are coming from Xenoverse 1, most of the fights will seem repetitive, though the addition of fights from DB Super are in this game and add something new to the story. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an arena fighter styled game for the Switch

This is a fantastic game for fans of Dragon Ball! For a limited time, you can download the story of the first Xenoverse on Switch only! This game has tons of content, it runs great on the Switch, and is amazing to play online or offline with a friend!

This is a solid, must have game for Nintendo Switch if you are a DBZ fan. Even those new to the series will enjoy the battles this game has to offer. Local co-op and online battles are a blast with friends. I bought this on sale for $20. What a deal!

This game is really fun! I do not typically play fighting games, but the style of the graphics in this game drew me to it. It really looks like you are playing an episode of Dragon Ball! Love the fact that you can do 2 players on one Switch system unlike Splatoon 2.

The game is very fun albeit difficult at first. The quality when undocked does get reduced a little bit, but not too bad... when docked though, the game looks just fine. I would definitely recommend it if you're a fan of Dragon Ball and like fighting games.

The game plays great on switch. It is perfect that you can take it in the go, or use split joy cons to play with friends. The game looks good and runs seemlessly. It is perfect for the switch and all the support for the game is nice with it being a year old game.

When I first started this game with no information I was happly surprised that after the frist few missions that at times fights felt suspenseful and challenging. The diversity of fighting techniques and combat really made this a enjoyable game.

As someone who had never played a xenoverse game, I was pleasantly surprised with this game. Excellent combat, tons of stuff to complete and collect, online and offline multiplayer (even comes with a single-joycon 1v1 mode to play with friends). I've yet to give the motion controls a try so I can't really comment on them, but I've been able to have tons of fun with traditional button inputs. If you're lacking a solid fighting game on your Switch (like there's many to choose from), look no further.

This game runs smoothly on the Nintendo Switch and controls are easy to learn/get hang of. The game is an open world , semi character building/customization that runs at 30fps. You do not notice the slowness and the graphics look great still !

I haven’t gotten too far into the game yet due to time constraints and so many other releases but I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game and I really look forward to putting more time in! Game plays well, looks good, plenty to do, would recommend.

This is a good port but no DLC for a game that's a year old is not acceptable. All things being equal, it's a good game for the switch for now. But won't equal the other systems for very long without the new characters from the new show.

This game is EXACTLY the same as the Xbox One & PS4 versions, with one difference... the GRAPHICS and PERFORMANCE. But this is to be expected for a less-powerful console. If you love DBZ and want to take the fun on the go.. be sure to pick this up!

Love the different styles of customization! Overall, not too complicated game, a little repetitive (much like quite a few fighting games are). Love reminiscing by seeing all of the characters from the game. Loads of fun for a Dragonball Z fan.

The game is a great port of the xbox one and ps4 versions. Sadly it runs at 30 fps during fights but its not too bad. The game plays great and is alot of fun. There is some grinding for leveling up and gear but overall its a fun experience.

    Addicting, but a little lacking

This game is suprisingly addicting. At least if you're a DBZ fan. Going through the history of DBZ as your own character, grinding away and getting to be a part of each saga is super fun. The gameplay feels a little 'off', but is still fun. Mostly is button mashing and grinding to level up, but some of the moves you can learn add to the strategy of how to engage and disengage. I do wish there was a bit more activity online on the switch. or at least it seems like there's a little lacking there because all of the online modes aren't centralized and it's weird to group up or join matches in a way that makes you feel like you completely understand what's happening, unless you look online for help. Overall though, it's fun and I'm going to put a lot of hours into this.

Xenoverse 2 is mostly fully featured and minimally cut back vs it's console cousins. Game still looks great and runs pretty well. It's a great pick up for Dragon Ball Z fans, just make sure your into fighting games.

The game is a sequel worth getting. The character creation is unique and very fun. Making your own character and fighting with is very rewarding. I enjoy the different scenarios that they put the characters in.
