Not necessarily missing anything, just a bit tedious at times, but that goes for any build-forward game. Overall pretty good

Never played the first Dragon Quest Builders at all and what piqued my interest with the game is it's like Minecraft but with a more questline more story that doesn't ruin the need for building your own. This game will really get you going for hours exploration, quests, beating monsters you'll get sucked in the game wanting to unlock or do more!

I got it for $30. Fantastic steal. Hundreds of hours. It gets better when the world opens up

I really liked the first Buiders game, and I am a huge Dragon quest dan going back to the original Dragon warrior game. The mechanics of the game are simple but the replay value is quite high In my opinion. Good graphics, engaging story, and a great score keep this game at the top of your mind.

Not as good as Minecraft or Dragon Quest. But it's got its own thing going for it.

If you're worried that this is just a minecraft clone, its SOO much better. There is a robust story line as well as a super addicting building aspect. I won't get too far in the weeds, but trust me this is a fantastic game and will suck you in for way too many hours.

I love these kinds of games. DQB2 is just as fun as the first game. I never got into Minecraft, so this was my first game of this type. It was a blast with a story and some combat with missions to go on. Buy it.

One of my favorite games on the Switch. If you like a fun story coupled with building your own world, this is the game for you. The possibilities are endless. Literally build anything you can imagine.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a fantastic combination of role-playing game and sandbox construction game. A lighthearted romp, with plenty of opportunities for creative building and a surprisingly good story

It's a great game even for those that didn't play the first one. Fun character, beautiful graphics and scenery, inserting storylines for the main islands. Dragon Quest style Minecraft without exploding creepers XP

The game has a great story plus after you beat it your free to build whatever your heart desires. You can visit your friends on multiplayer mode if you want to do so. You can also build with a friend as well.

Absolutely amazing game wether you are playing the story or just wasting time. 10/10 in my books, it has surpassed and improved everything the first one had done great. Recommended for newcomers too!

Quite simply there is no other game now as addicting on Nintendo Switch (or PS4). A reason to buy the system if you don't have one. Building, rpg, fun story. A must buy. 11 out of 10

At a fan of dragon quest and Minecraft I found that this game is perfect for me. The story is about what you’d expect from RPGs but the gameplay will have you hooked!

This is such a fun game. I've lost hours just building stuff. Quests are fun...just get past the tutorial. I found the tutorial incredibly boring but the game is fantastic after that.

DQB2 takes everything that was fun about the first one. Adds story and very fun characters and puts it over the top i have not been able to put the game down since i bought it.

Great fun for people of all ages, albeit they are about 10 or older. I love the quest-driven story combined with Minecraft crafting and building. It’s truly so much fun!

This game improves on the original and provides more options than before. Expect to be engaged for countless hours building your towns to your hearts content.

Very creative and fun game. Text is a bit hard to read in Handheld mode. It's definitely very awesome to be able to play on the go!!!
