For Dragon Quest fans, this is an enjoyable alternative game that takes the elements of the series and puts them in an action combat system. For non-fans, it may still be fun as the action is heavy paced when it is happening. Problems with it are it has an almost too basic story and the action portions are broken up too often.

This was more fun than expected. Role playing elements with dynasty warrior combat.

If you want a game that really mixes up the Warriors genre then check this game out.

Very different game mechanics from the Super Nintendo games, but overall, very fun

Best Buy Price matching services made this an easy purchase for me. The game itself is really fun if you are into Koei's Samurai Warrior games. This is a perfect game to pick up and just relax while you destroy hundreds of enemies at the same time. :)

If you like dragon quest and hack and slash games you will love this is a heavy mix of both its a hack and slash but with all the dragon quest elements.

This game blends the classic Dagon Quest characters with non stop action. The graphics are very crisp and really showcase how large some of the enemies are. It does get a bit repetitive but overall is very enjoyable.

Those of you looking for a Dynasty Warriors style game with more substance, or those of you looking for a lighter Dragon Quest game with less substance will find a lot to like here. Fun action gameplay!

Solid game for fans of the Dragon Quest series. Has a feel like Dynasty Warrior games, but takes it a bit further into RPG systems.

If you love rpgs.. then maybe this really isn't for you. It plays more like Hyrule Warriors or even the old school Dynasty Warriors. It's a great change to the franchise and worth playing
