Essentially a Dragon Quest themed Musou (Dynasty Warriors, etc) game. The graphics and music are awesome and true to the DQ franchise. The gameplay is what you expect out a Musou game so expect a bit of grind and repetition. Only weird thing with the game is how the voices will play out the dual shock 4 speaker and your main audio source. I had to turn the volume off on my controller speaker so I didn't get an annoying echo effect going with the voices. You can also adjust the underlevel volume in game, but it affects both the controller and in game volume for the voices at the same time. Game has dual language audio for anyone curious (English & Japanese).

Great game that combines Dynasty Warrior type game play and RPG systems of growth. I miss some of the larger battles of Dynasty Warriors but overall it is a great game if you love Dragon Quest or DW

Love DQ and DW. Them combine made my pant wet. Gameplay is very much like DW but with DQ action skills and magic. Love seeing past DQ characters and Yangus from DQ 8 but I miss his old voice. Overall, a great game.

Similar to Hyrule Warriors in that you'll get to experience franchise favorites in a way you never have before. Must buy if you're a fan of DQ or musou games in general.

Fun game from the creators of Dynasty Warriors. It feels more like a tower defense game. The art style is great.

Great game with lots of action on screen. If you like dragon quest and dynasty warriors this is the game for you

Not a turn based RPG, but still a really fun musou game with characters from previous main line entries.

It may just be a spin off, but it is a lot of fun. If you're a fan of the dragon quest series then I strongly recommend this game. However, It does not have any turn-based combat.

It's not a bad game... but if it wasn't in the Dragon Quest universe, I might not care as much. I give it a recommendation... but just barely. It's really just filling the giant time gap we've had since the release of DQIX.

First they missed a big opportunity by not naming this game Dragon Warriors. This game is pretty solid. it's got lots of Dragon Quest love in it, but it's missing the speed and dynamism of Dynasty Warriors game.

However, this game gets repetitive very, very fast. This genre of game is definitely for a niche market. Only pick it up if you like hack-n-slashes.

One fun none time consuming hack and slash adventure

This games is simple is fun and fun. It is similar to Dynasty Warriors games.

Dragon Quest Heroes introduce nothing new that has been seen in other Dynasty Warrior Games. But a big downside is that it didn't provide an option for Co Op, which has been featured in majority of the Dynasty Warrior game.
