If you love heavy action games from the Dynasty Warriors series, this is for you. If you love Dragon Quest and action games, it's for you. The story is classic Dragon Quest fare, with a main villain trying to take over the world. Many DQ characters from past entries make appearances. Hack, slash and cast spells through enormous waves of classic Dragon Quest enemies and fulfill objectives to beat levels. It's an RPG as well, so leveling up characters unlocks abilities and you can buy gear as well. Fun and nostalgic.

If you have ever played a Dynasty Warriors (Musou) type game, you know the deal. Your team against hundreds of enemies on screen. Since the Dragon Quest franchise is used, there is an RPG element to it as characters can level up, buy/craft equipment and equip them to create stronger characters. Easily 40+ hours of game play if player tries to finish every quest available. Recommended!

I haven't completed the game yet, but the part I've played is good mindless fun, think Destiny Warriors or the like, mostly hack and slash fun at least until you get to some of the boss fights that can be more challenging.

I am a huge fan of this franchise since back on the NES in the 1980's. Glad to see it back. Game is fun so far. Fighting style is a little different than previous games, seems a bit like a different game otherwise 5 stars.

Game is a blast. Taking on tons of enemies while getting coins to take said enemies and put them against themselves to hold off sections of the map so you can get to other sections and close portals. Good leveling system and the grind isn't bad since it's high on action and smashing slimes. Good times!

If you want a hack and slash experience similar to Dynasty Warriors with a sprinkling of RPG mechanics then this game is right up your alley. Beautiful visuals and great voice acting in both Japanese and English!

For a game made by the Dynasty Warriors team, a series I'm not particularly fond of, this title was quite a surprise as it brought something new to the table.

Dragon quest fan, very much like hayride warriors or dynasty warriors but a little more simplistic. I prefer the RPGs buy a landslide but my son and I are playing it together...just which it was two players.

Definitely a fun game to kick back too and kill sometime. If you've been a fan of the DragonQuest series , you'll have a lot of fun seeing the characters come together and take on new adventures together.

If you have a predilection for the Musou/Dynasty Warriors series, you won't be disappointed. There's a ton of Dragon Quest fan service here so anyone with nostalgia for the Dragon Quest series will find something to like, even if they're new to Musou-style gameplay.

Fun take on the usual Dynasty Warriors formula with Dragon Quest characters. It is fun seeing all the characters work together and destroy all the wave of enemies that come your way.

DQH is basically a love letter to the fans of the series. All the iconic imagery, sights and sounds of this classic series are all rolled into this new experience that hits the mark. The fact that characters from various mainline titles in the series show up in this world is an welcome addition to the frantic game play.

This game has frantic fast combat and doesn't suffer from slowdown. The worlds are bright and beautiful and the game is fun overall.

Definitely builds on the nostalgia factor from the opening cinematic, to the music. Great smooth combat and the graphics are what you would expect from the Dragon Quest series.

This game is amazing. I recommend everybody go and buy this and I assure you if you love RPGs or JRPGs you will have fun with this game. If this game sells well we will most likely get Dragon Quest XI in the west and I am excited for that.

Great game!! This is the 1st dragon quest I ever played. The story is ok you have to read a lot so be prepared for that, but the gameplay is excellent!!

This is one of the best Warriors games I've ever played. Its a great change from the themes of previous Warriors games and it has mechanics from the Dragon Quest series combined with it. I highly recommend this game to anybody looking for something familiar yet new to play.

This game is a lot of fun. The reason I never player Dragon Quest prior was that I enjoy ARPG. This the first in the series to be action orientated.

Great game for DQ fans!! This is a linear RPG with open battles that require a bit of strategy.

Great game, lots of fun, but it does get a bit repetitive. Not enough to ruin the fun though
