Nothing like the old

A Game You Can Latch onto Quickly

Gameplay is similar to Dynasty Warriors in the focus being dispatching numerous enemies at a time. There are many excellent reviews of this game on the internet, so if you are considering this game, look into one of those first. I can vouch that this is a game that will be addicting for gamers of any age.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, for those of us old enough to remember the original Dragon Quest for Famicom, this game is far from that original concept...way far. While I enjoy multiple genres of games, this game is just too simple and repetitive for my tastes. The nostalgic feeling wears off after hours of beating hoards of monsters. I've put in over 30 hours into the game, but the item/equipment reward system seems non existent which was what made RPG's so much fun, even A-RPG's. Too bad, I only rate this an average game as I had my hopes up of another good Dragon Quest game.

Nice Hack-in-Slash Adventure!!!

Though not a typical RPG like Dragon Quest, this game takes aim a games like Hyrule Warriors and Dynasty Warriors. This game is a fast pace, hack-in-slash adventure with Dragon Quest lore. Like I said, if you enjoy hack-in-slashing and Dragon Quest, you'll find some enjoyment in this game.

Fantastic Game

Sadly they have taken out the free open movement from previous games in the series and is more in a straight quest line series . Despite the loss of free range movement the game still feels like Dragon Quest (Warrior for true followers)

Great game with some interesting gameplay

Also, as someone with impaired vision, the menus are all large and easy to read, as is the mission map. One of the few games I can play and fully enjoy. Kudos, SquareEnix, Toei, and Project Omega!
