Don't listen to some of the negative YouTubers, they didn't play the game. It retains everything the original did. This is a great remake of Dragon Quest III.

It's a beautiful remake that stays faithful to the original, but modern changes that make it accessible to whole new generation. Something my son and myself were able to enjoy together.

The original was one of my first RPGs, so I was thrilled to pick this up. THe 2 1/2D style really brings the world to life and the QOL improvements make the gameplay less grindy. Definitely recommend to classic RPG fans.

The case was slightly damaged inside but other than that rhe game is fine and more of a must own if you have a switch 2 for the free upgrade.

If you played the original, or if you’re a fan of old school, turn based RPGs. This is a great one! Nice 2D updated background graphics. They added the soundtrack from DragonQuest 11.

Excellent game! Although labeled as Dragon Quest III, it's actually a prequel to Dragon Quest I. Runs great on a Switch. Includes a Switch 2 update (download). As always Best Buy delivered with their usualy excellent service.

I started playing the games on the NES back in the days, the games visual are great. i just wish you can rotate the camara to look around for more treasure. A nice game to pass the time

An awesome remaster with some great quality of life improvements. Also love the new look, but the option is there for the old way too. Play this before 1/2 comes out as it’s a prequel

I love this game!!! When I was a kid I rented the original from Blockbuster a bunch of times and this version is even more amazing than that. I hope to play the new versions of 1 and 2 next year as well and hope for the day that DQ4 is re-released for Switch as well!!

A great game for a HD 2d style game like Octopath Traveller and FF remakes. Definitely a Must have for your collection.
