Beautiful remake. Long time fan of the Dragon Quest games. The music is just as beautiful as the scenery. Same great classic feel. A few new additions that add to the richness of gameplay.

Another brilliant HD-2D game by SquareEnix. A truly faithful remake to the 1988 NES classic. Incredible modernized graphics and incredible orchestral score, with new quality of life improvements.

This game is a masterpiece of an RPG adventure! Chill but dont get to relaxed as the game gets harder, it can be punishing traveling unprepared.

Originally released in 1988 on the Famicom and 1992 on the NES. The game holds true to the original formula but with revamp visuals. If it's not broken, don't fix it... a formula the Dragon Quest/Warrior franchise has focused on it's entire life. The game is beautiful, and great to play and runs great on the Switch. Highly recommend the game.

This is a remastered done right. I couldn’t come up with any negative inputs on this game. It’s great, the story is good and there’s enough content. Do you have you playing for almost 100 hours.

A love letter to JRPG fans of the series and for fans of RPG game everywhere. Though I never played the original release this remake finally gives me a chance to play the game. Very addictive and fun and while difficulty can be harsh at times it make you want to grind through regardless. The game easily ranks up there with other JRPG games like Octopath traveler, Star Ocean,Eiyuden and others. A must have for any gamer who loves the new and classic style of JRPG/RPG games and one that gamers shouldn't wait on getting for too long.

Runs great on Switch. Faithful remake to the originals. Awesome QoL features. You can have 5 minute sessions thanks to the quick save which is nice when you have kids. Id Recommend starting with this one if you havent played a Dragon Quest before.

Excellent reimagining of the classic DQ III. Nostalgic and beautiful. I purchased the Switch version but it’s even better on the Switch 2 now with an update. Most recommended!

Don't listen to some of the negative YouTubers, they didn't play the game. It retains everything the original did. This is a great remake of Dragon Quest III.

Was hesitant at first due to the game being a remake of an older jrpg, but I am enjoying this game. Can’t put it down, love the art style and how the game plays. Will be purchasing the next Dragon Quest 1 + 2 HD remake.

it is my first dragon quest. im almost finish. at first it feels old and average but as you go through, i get to love the lore, and most specially i love the voice dialogues and the ending

If you like Chrono Trigger, or Pokémon era RPGs, this is right up your alley. Nothing ground breaking or innovative here, but it's really a love letter to the old school RPGs Gen X and Millenials grew up with. And for newer players, it's just a fun experience! Great soundtrack, character customization, and graphics.

It's a beautiful remake that stays faithful to the original, but modern changes that make it accessible to whole new generation. Something my son and myself were able to enjoy together.

Excellent game! Although labeled as Dragon Quest III, it's actually a prequel to Dragon Quest I. Runs great on a Switch. Includes a Switch 2 update (download). As always Best Buy delivered with their usualy excellent service.

Fun and modern remake, best game to start the series with

The original was one of my first RPGs, so I was thrilled to pick this up. THe 2 1/2D style really brings the world to life and the QOL improvements make the gameplay less grindy. Definitely recommend to classic RPG fans.

The case was slightly damaged inside but other than that rhe game is fine and more of a must own if you have a switch 2 for the free upgrade.

Classic game. Loved the updated presentation and the switch 2 upgrade made it worth it
