Open world, adventure, magic? This game has it! Overall, it's great, but I'm not crazy about the slight glitching that happens once in awhile

Dragon's Dogma is Capcom's attempt at an open world, Skyrim style RPG by way of Monster Hunter influenced combat. DD is far less "open" than Skyrim, but combat is much more involved. It is also fairly inscrutable so don't be afraid to look up a guide online, as it does not do you the favor of explaining most of its systems. Fun game if you are willing to put in the work.

And older title but still fun, it will feel a little janky at first but once you get into the flow of things it has a good number of ways to play and has an excellent character creator. Would recommended.

I have not finished the game yet, but I'm really enjoying it. It's nice to have another option than playing Skyrim for the 20th time. (though Skyrim is better!) Not enough adventure games on the Switch.

Game is pretty good. It's a bit of a dated game so some of the gameplay mechanics are annoying. It's a game that can be improved in many aspects. If you like arpgs and are ok with dealing with tedious mechanics, if you can get pass that, it's a good game!

Very fun souls like to add some variety to your library. Game runs great on switch

Not a great game. Tried playing it a few times but it just wasn’t my style. Still give it a try tho.

I played this game for like 15 minutes until my Switch broke down. Or it was just the clunky UTI that made it impossible to properly equip my character with proper fitting clothes and medication for his loins.

Great skyrim-like RPG. Overall it is ported well to Switch, with resolution similar to the other console versions. The frame rate is rather poor in mobile mode though, I would recommend playing this with a dock.

I have purchased this game three times now and can happily say that the Switch is a wonderful platform to play it on. I was shocked by how quick the loading times were and how well the controls worked out (there is a learning curve like most games however.) Thus far, my time spent playing has all been in handheld mode, and I haven’t had any issues regarding the games’ performance as of writing this review. Such an amazing experience to be able to take with you on the go. Also wonderful that the pawn system is not hindered by not having purchased Nintendo’s online services.

really fun game if your into RPGs that gives the option for different play styles

First copy defective. But Best Buy replaced without so much as a blink. Second copy works just fine. Game is really fun. I very much like it’s art style. I worry when games go half price, but this is worth its $. You will get drawn in from its first cut scene on.

No one told me that this game is not fun for the first 5-6 hours. I was about ready to return it but it really opens up once you pass a certain point: in terms of classes, abilities, everything becomes much more open. 4 stars for the wasted first hours.

Dragon's Dogma when it was first released didn't receive the best of reviews. However as years have passed, the game is starting to get more appreciation. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is the "complete" edition of the RPG released back on the PS3 and XBOX 360 from Capcom. The game plays surprisingly well on the Switch hardware (particularly in handheld mode.) If you're looking for a excellent third person action RPG to play, definitely check out this Capcom title.

People told me this game was good for years, but I never bothered to listen until it came out for switch. You know what? They were right. All the fantasy fun of skyrim, but with combat that's actually fun! A joy to play!

I previously heard this game was good but did not know what to expect. The character creation process is pretty in-depth. When I first started the game I wasn’t that impressed but as I continued to play I started to get quite into it. I’m hours into it and enjoying it quite a bit. It plays great in handheld mode. It’s basically the only way I play the game. If you are looking for a sprawling action rpg where you can change your vocation and skills then check this out. And for only $30 this game is a great bargain. I would definitely recommend.
