I enjoyed this series. I have not watched the dubbed version but the Japanese voice actors are terrific. The animation style is smooth. If you liked helsing ultimate you will probably like this. I preordered this and the box was damaged. I tried to exchange it, but the store couldn't order another. I didn't want my money back so I am stuck with a damaged product.

Rurouni Kenshin was the likable anti-hero presented in modern anime however Drifters fails to capture any of this essence with their anti-hero persona characters. Truthfully, the characters are not very diverse and you only understand their usefulness in very blunt results which are whammed at you unexpectedly. However where this delivers is with a storyline that screams potential at every turn yet never seems to capitalize on the litany of settings. The series is not shy about covering controversial topics so in that regard I found the seinen concepts to be worth their weight in gold however they are not developed on. The over the top humor in a majority of animes never usually bothers me however Drifters is the exception. The show lacks capturing any essence of direction or an easily recognizable plot. The action scenes are back and forth with peaking your interests to "Oh, dear lord, why?!" Terrible rhythm is how I describe the show in it's whole. If you can ignore all of that then it'd be a good show but for me this was simply average and mundane. A second season may bear fruit but I doubt it. If you can rent it or see it for cheap then go ahead but if you can't get around to watching this then you are not missing out. Go watch Gantz, City Hunter or Berserk again instead of this.

It was cool to see how they put all these different people from history together and showed there roles in the story. I learned this is only part one or kinda season one and not sure when the rest is comin out.

"Drifters" warriors transported to another world after death face off against the "ends" nonhumans for the existence or demise of their new home world. Be consumed by the action, gore and gritty comedic dialogue.

Alternate realities, lovable characters and sharp gorgeous (bloody) animation make Drifters a welcome treat for the anime aficionado

I have seen this anime before and I really like it I just wish you guys would have had the one with the ova's.

This is a good adition for fans of action anime. Nice set ond good price. nice to have all together.

Drifters is one part Lord of the Ring one part Hellsing and one part Samurai movie and its Awesome

Lots of action and the storyline was well written.

Movies are ok as a whole. Wired animation style. Good overall
