Drive Angry is a good car flick. The 3-D effect is really effective. The picture quality is high-quality for such an older film.

If your a fan of crazy Nic Cage then this is the movie for you.

All you need to know is it’s a Nic Cage movie with Amber Heard if that’s not a reason to buy nothing else I could write will convince you to buy this movie but BUY THIS MOVIE

If you like movies with fast cars and explosions and shooting of guns and watching it all in 3D Blu-ray then this is the movie for you. If you're a Nicholas Cage fan then that's another reason to want to watch this movie. As always Nicholas Cage has beautiful co-stars. Just remember to make the popcorn and enjoy the movie.

The storyline is unusual and I suggest the director should have a couple of minutes introduction due to the special nature of the story. The story was unfolded like a X-file, but I was not prepared for such movie. I think the title is misleading because I though it was simply an action movie with cops and criminals etc. It turns out to have religious implication with angels and demons involved. Should have call it undead driving or something.

I would have given this film a very good but there is no such choice here. The 3D was excellent! (Note: The film was actually filmed in 3D. It is not redone from 2D.) This is a film that caters to certain likes, e.g., Nicholas Cage, lots of tough (often gruesome and bloody) action throughout, nudity, and rough language. So, if these things bother you, this is not a movie that you would like to watch. If, on the other hand, you are okay with these things then this can be an enjoyable film for you. The action is pretty much non-stop and there is the pretty Amber Heard and Charlotte Ross. You might remember her from NYPD Blue. Cage is Cage and is on a personal quest from the Underworld for his daughter. Cage also has some cool cars that he handles well (or his doubles do). All in all, I found the film to be entertaining.

This is maximum 3D effects for in your face objects, and over the top acting by all involved (as intended), especially the indomitable Nicolas Cage. It does a little better job staying away from low grade acting (rather than just campy) that some other similar ones like My Bloody Valentine strayed into.

Going into this movie, i was initially a bit skeptical, but then the girl came in and started causing all kinds of trouble, then Nic Cage was all like "NOT IN MY HOUSE!" and saved the girl from the bad guys, all while DRIVING ANGRY! It was the bees knees, I would totally watch it again, but with popcorn this time!

Nicolas cage and Amber Heard are absolutely fantastic. Really cool movie with non-stop action.

After I purchased my Sony XBR65x930d 4K TV from Best Buy, I do an overview online to find recommended action 3D Blu Ray DVDs. While there were/are several "top 10" lists out there, one movie that came up in the "sleeper" category several times was "Drive Angry". Since, besides being reviewed well by several viewers, it starred one of my favorite no nonsense stars, Nicholas Cage I made the purchase from Best Buy online. Well, nothing disappoints here: In addition to confirming the excellent 3D capability of the Sony, this DVD was worthy of my 5 star rating. While the film goes out of its way to render 3D activity whenever it gets a chance, the storyline and overall movie quality was surprisingly good!

If you like excellent 3d, lots of over-the-top gore and violence, nudity, Nicholas Cage, and A+ non-stop action, this film may be for you. This may not be a film for you, though, if rough language and the other things that I have mentioned are problems. In addition, Cage has some good car chases with a nifty 1960's Dodge Charger and Chevy. Oh, by the way, eye candy is provided by Amber Heard and Charlotte Ross. Al in all, I liked this film. Note: This is not a film for kids.

Of all the Nicolas Cage movies...this is one of them. There isn't a lot to say, Drive Angry is a b-movie full of one liners, fast cars, over the top special effects and a delightfully absurd plot. A good popcorn movie you don't have to think about or invest yourself in, just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

PRETTY GOOD STORY NICOLAS CAGE IS HIS USUAL STOIC SELF A LIL DIFFERENT FROM GHOST RIDER BUT MORE GORE AND SOME NUDITY TOO ESPECIALLY FROM CHAROLTTE ROSS WHO PLAYS THE WAITRESS AND AMBER HEARD IS A GREAT PARTNER FOR NICOLAS AND WILLIAM FICHTNER IS VERY GOOD TOO

If you enjoyed the Ghostrider series, I am sure you would like this movie. I especially enjoyed the light humor of the Accountant and the carefully crafted action scenes. After watching the "Making of" extra after the movie, I wanted to watch again.

Really excellent 3D presentation. And the audio is great as well. The movie is a throw back to those over the top action films from the 70's. So if you enjoy movies like Planet Terror or Machete, you'll enjoy this one.

I didn't really know anything about the movie and was actually surprised it was as good as it was. It's not a blockbuster and certainly not for younger viewers, but funny.

The storyline is different than most I've seen, I love the character of the accountant-he is my favorite for sure! Their is violence yes, but still overall a good watch!

Love movies like this! Total throwback to exploitation flicks of the 70's. The 3D was better than on bigger budget 3D movies so that was the icing on the cake.
