I picked this blender up yesterday. It blends smoothies like a champ. Tossed in a bunch frozen fruit and it shredded that no problem. It's loud because blenders are loud. At least every blender I've ever owned. It does vibrate enough that it will walk itself right off the counter if you walk away but no more time than it takes to blend anything, why would you walk away? I just wanted something to make a quick smoothie for breakfast on my way out the door for work and so far, it's been excellent for that.

This is the best of director Nicholas Winding Refyn's five features. Impressionistic shots of LA, while in color (as opposed to classic noir b/w) are part of its appeal. As are the engaging performances of Carey Mulligan (she's a heart breaker) and Ryan Gosling (who gets to do his scary explosive, yet tender guy thing). But worth the price alone, is seeing Albert Brooks, nebbishy Albert Brooks, as you have NEVER seen him before. A VBD (that's very bad dude). Bryan Cranston, pre "Breaking Bad" super stardom, is Gosling's tragic pal. Truly a 'guilty pleasure' don't miss it.

If you like great story telling, this is a good movie. It's pretty gory, which i like, and the story is pretty good. I like indie movies, especially like this neo-noir film the way it's projected. I feel Carey Mulligan has a bright future in Hollywood, as for Oscar Issac i think it's safe to say he's made it. It starts off slow with Ryan telling Carey about his job as a stuntman, but it picks up after Oscar is released from prison and everything escalates real quick. I would recommend this movie to just about everyone.

I will keep it short. Movie is definitely for adult audiences only and that surprised the hel out of both me and my wife. For me it was a pleasant surprise, for my wife.. Not so much. Plot is nothing amazing, but Gosling knows his stuff and plays really good. That combined with amazing soundtrack make this movie stand out in my library and I will be coming back to it many times over in the future. If you like serious movies with a lot of vicious fight scenes as well as amazing ambient music to support that, this is a movie for you=)

Starring Ryan Gosling, Albert Brooks, Ron Pearlman, with Christina Hendricks and Bryan Cranston in smaller roles, this movie is about a Hollywood stunt driver who spends his night as a professional driver for criminals. Events unfold and trouble ensues. This movie is very straight forward and every aspect of it is done at a high level. "Drive" really flew under the radar and I highly recommend checking it out. This version comes with an HD Digital Copy that can be redeemed with CinemaNow, Vudu, Flixster and others.

This movie is about a Hollywood stunt driver who is also a freelance getaway driver for criminals. It is also a tragic love story. Thrilling chases sequences, action, and suspense abound. The special features are numerous, well-done, and well worth watching. There is a digital download available using BD-LIVE.

At first I avoided this movie after reading the synopsis. It sounded like another "gone in 60 min" or another "fast and furious" movie which I had enough of already. But man I was wrong. This does have to do with driving but the deeper story is much more. Plus has great action. I would have to say it's like a bit of "The Sopranos" mixed with some "GetCcarter" and there your go....you got "Drive".

Hands down, the Project Pop Art steelbooks is my favorite series of exclusive steelbooks. The design, artistry, and quality of the Drive steelbook is fantastic. I've had issues before with easily scratched off paint on other steelbooks, but the coating on these is more than satisfactory to avoid that problem. If I had one gripe, it would be the lack of art inside the case. Overall, beautifully simple design, quality steelbook, and excellent collection piece. Awesome steelbook for an awesome movie.

Slept on this one for a few years, but once I saw it, it instantly became one of my all-time favorite action/thrillers. Killer soundtrack, great cast, beautifully shot, and a complicated love story unlike most you'll find in this genre. Whether a fan of Refn or not, this is worth a buy. I'm not particularly into everything he's directed, but Drive transcends his other efforts. Just don't get swept up in the hype enough to watch Only God Forgives (Spoiler-it's terrible).

At first I was skeptical but I ended up liking this movie. Until now I've started liking the way Gosling portrays his characters. The themes and characters in this movie are relatable as well. I really also like the underground crime part based in Los Angeles. So if you like what you are hearing make sure you pick it up. Movie lovers will see that this is a perfect addition to their collection

This movie is divisive between critics and casual movie viewers. As a lover of movies I'll say that this is one of the best directed movies I've ever seen. The dialogue is fantastic and there is an interesting plot. This is not a perfect movie in my opinion though. I don't feel like the main character feels very realistic with the way he interacts with people. The ending to me was also a little far fetched. This is a very solid movie though.

If you're looking at this movie, you're probably already familiar with the great car chase films- Bullitt, French Connection, Le Mans, and of course Vanishing Point. It ABSOLUTELY belongs along side these. Even better, if you don't care for cars, watch it for Gosling's intense performance. A bit of the plot was forced, but it doesn't spoil it. Kowalski and his Challenger have been usurped.

I first watched this on Netflix, not sure that I'd like the movie... frankly because it was an action style movie with someone I found hard to believe in an action role. I watched it as a total skeptic and came away a believer. Great movie. Dark Cinematographic story telling. Excellent acting. It's the real deal.

This is a good Blu-ray with exceptional video and audio quality. If you have a surround sound system and a good, high quality tv, this is a good title to watch. The movie wasn't as good as I hoped it would be - and I actually enjoyed the movie 'Baby Driver' a lot better (both movies share similarities in terms of plot). I recommend this title though, but more if there's a sale on it.

Though it does contain some brief but well executed action movies, this film is a mostly slow-paced drama, with some great performances from Ryan Gosling, Oscar Isaac, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, and several others. Despite what the trailer shows, this is a slower, almost dreamlike film with some great music and characters. Highly recommended!

Love this film. The average joe will probably hate it, as the main character barely speaks and some scenes are take time to unfold. If you can appreciate films at a little higher level, you have beautiful cinematography, music, subtle character archs, and sudden extreme violence. Just everything works as a cohesive film that really takes you to another place.

Ryan Gosling stars in his best role, a quiet, reserved, stunt driver with loftier ambitions who does some shady work on the side. His character seems amoral at times but he does seem to have another side, a code if you will, that if transgressed leads to violence and pain. Great supporting performances by Bryan Cranston and others make this movie well acted and entertaining.

I bought this Blu-Ray on a whim, I was looking through a clearance bin and it caught my attention. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. I thought it was a different movie and was a little confused by the storyline not following the plan that I expected. That being said it was entertaining and a bargain at the Best Buy price. I now own it for a few bucks more than it would have cost to rent it.

Crazy movie, like a gem in the rough. This movie just throws you into the plot and you are not spoon fed backstory or convoluted subplot. The protagonist just does one thing and one thing only. HE DRIVES. Great music soundtrack and visually beautiful with unique characters and fun moments. I recommend watching all special features because they are weird and interesting

This is by far one of the best movies ever delivered in my opinion. Gosling nails the part. The soundtrack is a bonus. Definitely recommend this movie. I ordered this online and the packaging was pristine.
