very easy to install great picture and you can watch camera from any computer or cell phone and you can see at night and hear from the camera and talk through it

previously had a summer wifi monitor but it did not stay connected to Wi-Fi and was slow to reposition or refocus. dropcam blows that out of the water. I don't need the cloud recording but I sure love the hd video and being able to zoom to all corners of the crib that my little baby wanders to or rolls to even in the middle of the night. sounds delay is minimal. the cries are loud enough anyway that I can hear them on delay from the app. cost is slightly higher than traditional baby monitor but worth every single penny. full disclosure: already a happy nest customer, and now even happier.

Picture Quality is awesome. Setup was very easy. If you want an easy and reliable way to monitor your home and or business, the DropCam Pro will not disappoint.

Works great. Set up in ten minutes. Wish they made an outdoor camera. We have it pointing out our dining room window. Nice to see our beautiful view from work

This video monitoring camera is absolutely amazing! Picture quality, even with almost no light, is outstanding. The zoom-in feature makes it far superior to most nursery monitors, which is the reason we bought the Drop Cam. The only negative is this: it is wifi dependent, meaning you have no monitoring if your wifi goes out for some reason. So, we are using another inferior picture nursery monitor as a back up. No way to remedy this. Other than that it is perfect!

One of the Cool features of This Product is its zoom,which can be improved..but also it has a microphone which can detect sound and record it..also u can speak through the camera with your phone using the app..i tried speaking while i was at work but could not hear the other party talk back..they were able to hear me clearly,but i could not hear them..i do not know what the range is..its worth paying for the subscription for a year after your free trial.

HD video with a good zoom function. Very easy to set up compared to others. Cost more but well worth it.

The good: 1. Easy to set up. 2. Works well. 3. Lots of great control from iphone remotely. 4. Great features like turning off automatically when you come home to avoid drain on WIFI network. Not so good: 1. For HD...not that clear. 2. Don't like monthly fee for back up. 3. Price. Although I am going to keep this one most likely I have decided to use other system for rest of house as at $200 a camera....very costly. If you have the money....not a bad system.

This is just a great product and very easy to set up! I'm able to see what's going on in my house right on my smart phone. Quality is Excellent!

Cool product and the app works great on my phone. Good quality video. You have to pay to record footage, but that's the only downfall I can think of.

The camera is very easy to set up and works as exactly as expected. The picture is good for a remote camera and the app works very well.

This was as easy as advertised. In a matter of minutes, was set up and working. Great quality and went out and purchased a second one.

Recently my wife and I had an incident at our home in which it would have been *nice* to have an indoor camera showing some unauthorized visitors coming in from the front door. I wanted a camera that was small and one that didn't require more than a single wire (power) to run. Ideally I would have liked to have the video served from a dedicated server at home, but really there are just too many factors involved to get that working "super" without spending a lot of time and extra money for software. Even then, you're not guaranteed compatibility on a wide range of devices. SO here lies the compromise : get a DropCam and purchases their 7 day or 30 retention and get full compatibility, great quality, and easy setup... -OR- get a Foscam and spend lots of time fiddling with your home server. I choose the former with the 7 day retention ($99 a year) and I'm PLENTY happy. The DropCam smartphone software has so many great features such as auto power on/off via schedule and/or location, and you can create "zones" in the camera's field of view that will send specific alerts! All this of course happening in near real-time on their servers. No worries about server issues at home. So do I worry about privacy since this company is now owned by Google (via Nest)? Yeah, a little since Google is a company that basically makes money off selling *you* but I'm crossing my fingers they are going to keep their nose clean on this product. So in a nut shell, this camera has great daytime and nighttime video, tons of features, and honestly "it just works" (yes, a phrase spoken from an Apple person)!

Great quality camera but it does go off line quite often and its a pain to get it started again.

Camera was easy to set up and connect to wifi, produces nice, clear video and pictures.

Dollar for Dollar this is the best and most affordable security cam out there. Setup is easy. Picture and audio are fantastic.

I own 8 DropCam's and have been very satisfied with them. I needed a camera to keep an eye on my vacant house I have up for sale. I placed the camera in my detached garage window with the entire house in the field of view. I can't believe how clear the picture is. Even when I zoom in to see if a realtor left a window open or if the screen door it completely shut the picture is extremely good. There is a huge difference in picture quality from the standard to the pro version of DropCam.
