The camera quality is great and it is really helpful to be able to talk through the camera.

I originally got this as a baby monitor because of its great reviews in baby bargains. It works not only as a great baby monitor, but a security camera as well. It automatically changes between day and night vision. The sound is crisp with both you listening and talking. Love the feature where you can turn off the blue status light as well. So people think it is off but it is really running. So happy I purchased this as a baby monitor because once we no longer need it for that it will be our security camera! Great multipurpose. Only bad thing is it has a white cord with the black device. Black would have been better.

I had to install this for a client to keep an eye on her mother First off it has good a good viewing angle so getting pretty much the whole room in the image was easy. The setup on the iPhone and her sisters Android phone was a snap. Getting alert for motion was a bonus along with being able to talk to her using the camera when needed. There is the option to record motion if needed but that is an extra cost.

This web cam is really cool. Super definite image especially in night vision mode.

I bought this camera to install in my finished shed. My two dogs live in there, and I wanted to be able to keep tabs on them when needed. This camera works great for that. The two way audio was a bonus. Even night vision works great. Im very happy with this purchase and will be waiting for an outdoor version.

There are many options when it comes to surveillance cameras but this is one of the most easiest and flexible solutions. Start with using as a baby monitor then can be used for just about any other purpose. Not using cloud recording. This seems to be a polarizing feature but just depends on your needs and considerations. Highly recommend especially with the expanding Nest ecosystem.

I have used this camera for several months now and have nothing but positive things to say. It has a crystal clear HD wide viewing area and have had zero issues with connection to my WiFi. I have been able to check out my home (and kids) while traveling and on vacation using my smart phone and laptop. The two way voice communication is fun to use with the kids during the summer.

I love the camera, but it will not send you an alert that includes a video clip without paying their Cloud fee of almost $10 per month. That makes it a deal breaker for me.

It's a little on the pricy side, but it is amazingly easy to use and jam packed with features. Note: to gain access to all of the features requires a reasonable yearly fee. Highly recommend this product if you are looking for a good way to check on your pets/kids remotely and also for home security.

Easy setup and operation. The only drawback is that it isn't weather proof.

Perfect for while your home or away! Easy to install and use. Allows me to keep an eye on and talk to the kids while their downstairs playing. Great for when we are not home to check on the pets. When we're on vacation, it gives us the peace of mind to be able to check-in on the house.

We needed something to both monitor the house and keep an eye on the dogs while we are out, Dropcam was a perfect solution. We chose the black version with 130 degree field of view, which allows us to see everything in the living room and kitchen and the app is very easy to use. Very easy to set up and no starter kits needed. We're going to add two more cams so we can see the entire downstairs. Overall, if you're looking for a ssy to monitor the house or a business while you're away, this is a great solution. Higlhly recommend. Haven't added the DVR package yet, but for $100 bucks a year, it's something we're considering.

I had a hard time deciding on which camera to purchase but decided on Dropcam since Nest owns them and I was use to using their products. I am really happy with how well the video looks and how well it works. Great wide angle lets me see most of my house with one camera.

The setup for the camera was easy and have had it now for a few moths and no problems. It's my first camera and I'm very happy with it. However, you must know if you want to record video for any length of time, you will have to pay $10 every month or more. I think for the price you pay, you should get at least 24 hours of record time free.
