Gregory Peck & Jennifer Jones are unequivocally in love with each other no question about it, although the times they lived in it wasn’t acceptable for a man of his stature to be with a woman who was half Indian & half Caucasian. They called her a sqaw so she belonged to him, he wouldn’t let her move on with another man so in the end it goes to show that LOVE isn’t enough there are more depth’s like an ocean to a relationship. Great & sad love movie.

This is a very good movie. That Lute in the movie, played by Gregory Peck really loved a woman he was willing to die for and dare any man to have her. Great Movie

This movie is one that sneaks up on you. You're thinking what will be the kicker and you have the oddest duel in the sun ever. Highly recommended!

Three top stars, but the storyline is sort of mis-jointed. I would have been disappointed IF I have paid full price for the DVD. It's the kind of movie I will want to watch about every two-three years vs. bi-monthly for my favorite shows. Gregory Peck as a 'bad guy' is not what I expected, but then again, he's still one of my favorite actors.
